You could just purchase AmpolCash physical gift cards from an Ampol Foodary or Ampol Woolworths MetroGo (to trigger the $5 cashback), then redeem the AmpolCash physical gift cards at EG Ampol. That is what I do.

It worked for me yesterday on a fuel purchase (and for the last few years), so I am not sure why you are facing issues at your local one. Are you referring to AmpolCash Digital, because that is not accepted at EG Ampol.
I will add that I had one EG Ampol staff member a couple of weeks ago initially refused to let me redeem an AmpolCash physical gift card, because they thought it cannot be used in conjunction with fuel discount offers. After I pointed out that the terms and conditions of the two fuel discount offers I was using only excluded AmpolCard and pointed out that AmpolCard is listed separately to AmpolCash on the Ampol website, they reluctantly let me try and the redemption worked without an issue.

The Ampol you visit either may have all those denominations, some of those denominations or none of those denominations. It will vary depending on what stock an Ampol has at that time.

That is exactly what I did in an another Ampol cashback offer earlier this year. that should work for this deal too, because there is no language in the terms and conditions to say you have to spend a minimum of $60 across two transactions.
I actually received 1x $10 cashback for spending $125 in one transaction.
How does that work?
You need to go into the convenience store at an Ampol (and I’d recommend an Ampol Foodary or Ampol Woolworths MetroGo, because those are most likely to have AmpolCash physical gift cards) and ask to purchase a $100 AmpolCash physical gift card and a $25 AmpolCash physical gift card. At Ampol Foodary or Ampol Woolworths MetroGo service stations, those are usually hanging on a display in front of the checkout area.

Didn't get it on my Velocity Escape but got Spend $60 or more, get $5 back up to 2 times on my QFF Discovery. It's also on the supp I checked, haven't checked the other supps yet but would assume it'll be on all of them.

Third Party is PayPal/Zip/Afterpay type platforms. Apple Pay/Google Wallet is perfectly fine. I don't ever carry my AmEx cards they're all on my phone and these offers always track.
I can confirm my Cashback didn’t get tracked in my Amex transactions yet. As I mentioned it was done through Apple Pay. So looks like it only requires physical Amex card tap to work. I had the offer saved to my card. Neither I have received any email from Amex , which I will normally receive as soon as utilise an offer.

I was buying Amazon GCs so not likely they'd go on further sale.
OK, it is not available at some stores and some attendants(especially recently employed) are not familiar with activing these 3rd party giftcards, which makes me not to do it.

I purchased three AmpolCash physical gift cards in separate transactions at two different Ampol service stations across two days.
- Purchase 1: $95
- Purchase 2: $23.75
- Purchase 3: $47.50
I just had 2x $5 statement credits processed to my AMEX, which means for these kinds of cashback deals, you do not actually need to spend a minimum of $50/$60/$75 in each transaction to earn cashback.
If anyone (like me) still has not redeemed their Ampol cashback offer, participating Ampol service stations (presumably only Ampol Foodary and Ampol Woolworths MetroGo) are currently selling AmpolCash gift cards at a 5% discount.

fueled up at an Ampol but the transaction came out as Caffe Aurora.. argh.
I made the purchases yesterday. Today the offers show as redeemed even without settling. The initial retailer info may be changed after settling. In other words, your offer may be redeemed now.
I doubt it, because Caffe Aurora is the coffee partner for EG Ampol, which means it is likely they fueled up at EG Ampol.

Is your offer for the Ampol App? That one landed on my AMEX this morning. If so, that offer is completely seperate to the one in this deal. In other words:
The offer in this deal is only for instore payments at any Ampol service station across Australia (excluding EG Ampol), and I received this on my AMEX a number of weeks ago.
The offer you are presumably talking about is only applicable for payments made through Ampol FuelPay on the Ampol app. Only ~600 Ampol service stations across Australia accept payments from Ampol FuelPay, plus nearly all Ampol fuel discounts are not redeemable on the Ampol app.
Yep, I've just received this offer too. It is indeed an Ampol App offer, and is technically different to the offer mentioned by the OP.

My Ampol App cashback offer is also only redeemable once.
Ampol rates are always higher than their EG Fuel stations. That covers up for the $5 cashback.
