  • Seems they are having trouble selling them.

  • Would this be worth for around $600 by stacking all the codes etc. Compared to the G3223Q deal would this then be better deal? VA vs IPS
    or this one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/805805

    • The LG is 60hz, so for gaming, it's terrible.

Not sure what you want to use it for?

      • gaming study etc. didnt realise it was 60 hz yeah im looking for 144hz. Should i hold out for another dell deal or pull the trigger, trying to get a samsung loyalty 10% discount then il probs buy?

        • Apparently based on reviews, the Samsung isn't that great for that price. I would hodl.

A review by Monitors Unboxed for those considering this.

Big concerns over the response times on this model.

24.8ms input lag is horrific for a monitor of this price.

It might be better off as an office monitor than a gaming monitor.

The minimum brightness is also 117 nits, which might be too bright for night-time use.

      • If I'm not doing any sort of competitive FPS gaming, is 25ms input lag an issue? I'm mostly playing single player games like Starfield

        • If you're not an FPS gamer then those input lag issue might not be a problem…. but you are paying top dollar ($900) for a monitor that has the input lag of a last generation gaming LCD monitor from maybe a decade ago.

I'd watch the YT channel Monitors Unbox and see what the "best of 2023" includes and base your purchasing decisions on that.

          • @scrimshaw: I'd be using it 75% for productivity and 25% for gaming. I have a Dell UW which has been really good but since I got back into gaming, I've been less than impressed with the HDR so when this Mini-LED came up for around $900, I'm just having a think about it. It is a lot of money….Ideally, I'm after a really great HDR monitor that is UWQHD. All the "best" ones are those $1.2k+ OLED monitors which I don't really want to spend that much money on.

TBH this 43incher is probably off the table for me (pun intended), it's just really damn big for my desk haha but if you have some recommendations, I'd love to hear it

          • @scrimshaw: I really don't think you could say $899 is top dollar for a 43" 4K gaming monitor that has full smart TV capabilities.
At $899 its an absolute steal!

    • Lmao look at those response times: https://i.imgur.com/KR4Js39.jpg

Great for retro computing if you wanna feel like you're using an LCD in 2005

    • The huge turn off for me was the worst in class ghosting issues, terrible for gaming

  • This is a trash monitor for gaming seems they can't give them away!

  • Reviews are not great but the price is.

Do any of these other codes apply here?

10% for using Samsung Shop App
10% code after emailing Samsung for a code
    $50 Newsletter Code
$100 Live Chat code asking for one

    • 1 and 3 apply i tried to get 4 but they said they wont give it for monitors, maybe if you ask for phone it might work on monitor as well, im trying to get the 10% one now, even with just those two im at 669$, have you tried getting the $100 dollar one, if so that would make the deal a steal.

      • confirmed option 1 works, ended up $719.60 for the monitor

    • What's the newsletter code?

  • Is there anything similar to this but 1440p and better response time for cheaper?

  • With codes i got it down to $570 which is good but after looking at response time of 25ms which is hard to find on the worst of worst monitors and ghosting i can tell why no one wants it. I think i will hodl

    • Share how you got it down to $570

      • 10% android app, 10% loyalty, SECRET10 , $50 code

        • expand on the 10% loyalty? how do you get that?

          • @Romiyo: You email them or call em up and you gotta give serial code or imei of a samsung phone or other product.

  • I kinda want this monitor to use as secondary entertainment tv/monitor if I can add the discount codes but literally everyone I know uses an iPhone 😭
