  • Does this support features like Picture-in-Picture or Picture-by-Picture as Dell ones do?
    Thanks

  • How does this compare with the dell one?

    • +1

Had to google refresh rate since it wasn't stated in the marketing (bad sign), it's only 60hz (vs "the dell" which is 144/165hz, I can't remember exactly).

The only plus on this is that it has power delivery over USB-C.

    • Which one?

  • Tempting I have the 27UK850. If I want better HDR, will this do it or basically the same? Also used as a design monitor of course…

    Hmmm… VA panel… not an IPS…
    Definitely pass on this one..

    • I mean VA panels is what makes it relatively cheap - but the ghosting and black may be a deal-breaker for those who are used to higher-end monitors, use it for gaming, always looking at dark grey backgrounds when programming and more.

But some VA panel monitors are definitely better than others - they are not created equal. I had an LG VA panel one and its smearing was so horrible - got a Samsung VA panel after and never noticed any smearing.

    • Personally prefer a VA panel when working at night, otherwise IPS is much better.

Surely there's gotta be another 32" 4K 144Hz that goes ~$500, or is it just the Dell we all missed out on?

  • I have been using this for over a year now and it's legit a pretty good monitor at its price. I prefer this to the dell ones with my MacBook Air. The control is pretty simple and effective, and the sound quality is wayyyyy better than the dell I used. This LG one can also auto wake the screen when the MacBook wakes, the dell one wouldn't.

  • Got JB Hi-Fi (via Live Chat) to bring the price down to $500. Feel free to give it a try and you might just get it even cheaper!
