Wahoo Kickr Core $764 Delivered @ 99 Bikes

340

Quick search suggests this is the all-time lowest price.

All online orders get the Club 99 price

This is my first trainer purchase - can't speak to it but seems well regarded and previous deals were popular

Potentially combine with:
- Amex credit if you were targeted to bring down the total cost to $614
- $20 off with $200 spend coupon if you were targeted - I got an email a week ago but I'm Club 99 and have signed up to the newsletter (check your inbox)
- Signup for lifetime Club 99 for $5 and get a $25 gift voucher if you spend $500 in a financial year - no brainer signing up for this imo

Need to factor in the cost of a cassette if you don't have one as its not included.

Fantastic piece of kit at a sharp price. Good find OP

  • Great price

Also check out indivelo for a zwift alternative

    • Mywhoosh also looks good, and free! So it's very ozbargainy 😁👍

    • Also check out FulGaz .. It is developed in Melbourne …

      • FulGaz is fantastic, so many real-life rides to choose from

  • Also there is the alternative of the Jetblack Volt 2.0…also $749 before any discounts. Has a couple of features the Wahoo doesn't, like an included cassette.

    • Excuse my naivety.
I was considering a new or FB MarketPlace Rogue Echo bike for stationary fitness without the impact on my knees and ankles of treadmill running.
Could I use this with an old mountain bike with the same impact?

      • Yes - it'll work with your old mountain bike. You'll need to buy a cassette that matches what's on your mountain bike and the tools to install it. You'll also need some software to pair with it - Zwift (which requires a subscription) is the most popular option.

      • It'll take up all the space of an old mountain bike too though. Stationary bikes are often much smaller.

    • Isnt this the zwift trainer

      • yes and no, zwift hub is made by jetblack but it's not sold in AU.

Don't know if it will be compatible with the new Zwift hub

      • The Volt 2 hardware is used by Zwift as the Zwift Hub, but they have their own firmware and are building out a number of accesories with the new Click and so on. I'm unclear whether a Volt could by flashed to take advantage of the new gadgets…
It's easier to just go with the original Kickr Core if the price is similar in this market.

    • kickr will have more resale value and is also compatible with kickr climb

Love my Kickr, double points at the moment on Zwift for the Tour of Watopia, great for levelling up.

  • Great price, Great trainer.

    • Were they one 1299 or was this Covid inflated price?

      • Usually have been above a grand.

Another 8% off with Amazon Ultimate eGift card offer

  • They're a good trainer - I'm on my second after insurance replacement (the first was cooked by a power surge and there's nothing they can do to fix the electronics - they're throwaway if something happens, which seems crazy). Highly recommend a high-end surge protector! ;-)

  • Dam. Just got mine the other day. Always the way.

  • Great deal have been looking at these. I swear the Amex deal was against my Amex cards only the other day…. They aren’t there anymore. 🙁. Sub 700 was my happy place to buy it hmm what to do ? Is it still in others Amex deals presently? I thought I had more time to add it and spend it?

Expiry was 31/10/2023 for me, used it for this. Did you buy anything else from 99 Bikes?

      • Nope I don’t think I added it, but definitely saw it as available. Maybe they remove them before expirations. Bummer.

Oh yes, there's a limited number that can be saved. Shame some people probably saved it without any intention of using it

          • @ninjalot: Yep my bad for not saving it. Probably only a couple percent that save it world use it. 🙁

waited too long to go for this..
