That link indicates it DOESNT have dual side scanning :(

        • +1

Strange the newer model doesnt have 2 sided scan!

No stock in the 2750 around gold coast/brissy

          • @jaypee06: says Mt Gravatt has 2 but shows oos during pickup checkout.

            • @kajidzz: My local said that but had stock when I went in store.
I assume it won't let you check out online when stock is low, but doesn't mean there is 0

      • Thats make this model a good collectors item.

  • Bought this for $275 earlier this month, had I had known!

    • I did exactly the same thing. Very frustrating.

      • Don't get too frustrated, they are out of stock in most areas.

        • I noticed when I checked. It did make me feel a tad better.

I bought a 2703 in 2017 for $160 from OW. Still going like a champ. If it ever dies it's getting replaced with another of the same class.

    • doesn't have automatic document feeder, am I right?
also, can't remember it prints and scans double side or not

Update: it prints double side but no auto document feeder for scanner

      • +1

I’m not sure if you’re referring to the 2703 or the 2750 but the 2750 does have a auto document feeder for scanner

        • Yeah meant 2703

    • I bought the 2700DW in like 2010 and its still going solid. As is my Brother 2140 non wireless regular laser printer. Brother laser printers seem to last for ever.

  • Does this model and the newest model have duplex scanning?

  • No stock in Sydney.

  • I have one of these. It’s a very good printer for the price.

  • Couldn't see any stock around me in Melbourne.

Any tips on replacement generic toners that work without issue?

    • +1

inkstation - 30 bucks for black toner delivered. Advertised that it's good for up to 3000 pages

    • +1

My Brother L2700DW and HL-2140 are about 13 and 20 years old respectively and have never had a branded toner cartridge or an issue.

    • Powered up today and it's running what appears to be current firmware 12/01/2023 (ZA/1.12)

Anyone know if this has generic toner issues at all?

  • Thanks. Just grabbed one in Pakenham and used my home gift card purchased in recent deal. There are still several left in this store just in case anyone interested.

Thanks, grabbed the last one near my area in Melb. Stacked with the Coles 15% off celebration GC to bring it to $220. For those following the other thread my Celebration GC didn't have the office works logo on it but it worked with no issues.

I do love a good Officeworks online ordering experience. Multiple stores reporting stock, but I'm told out of stock when I go to checkout. Neato 🙃

    • +1

For my experience, they do have stocks. Just don't support click and collect( online order ). You will.have to go to the shop to buy them. You can call to confirm before you go to store though.

      • Yeah just annoying that it's a thing. Like if it says it's available for click and collect on the product page, then it should.

  • Does anyone know whether the Officeworks receipt has the serial number of the printer on it?

    • +2

Yes, it does. I have one of these and just checked my receipt. Surprised it does have it.
