NordVPN: 105% Cashback (New VPN Plan Customers) | eBay: up to 6% Cashback + Bonus 15% Westpac Lounge (Cap $20) @ ShopBack

1000

I believe the highest ever cashback for NordVPN.

  • Cashback is calculated based on the Order Value, excluding any GST/Taxes, Delivery Fees, & any amount paid for with Gift Cards.
  • Cashback is only valid for New NordVPN Subscriptions
  • Those who have used NordVPN under a free trial are considered existing NordVPN customers
  • Due to currency fluctuations, discrepancies may apply to the cashback amount you receive. Please note that the purchase amount ShopBack receives is not what your bank charges you, but what NordVPN reports back to us in AUD.

eBay Link

Not too shabby for eBay if you have Westpac eligible card. Can stack with 10%/15% off promo codes THING10/THING15.

Cashback is calculated based on the Order Value, excluding any GST/Taxes, Delivery Fees, & any amount paid for with Gift Cards.

Does that mean the actual cashback is 95.46% (10/11*1.05), meaning no profit from this?

    • Good pick up I'd like to know too as my Nord just expired from a previous deal

      • Then buy, you can use this for 2 yrs

      • Don't think it will work, your not a new customer.

        Correct me if I'm wrong

        • +54

          You’re*
(you told to correct you if wrong lol)

        • Just use a different email and a different bank card to pay, to them, you are a new customer if you do that.

          • +1

@bargainhunter168: One of the cash back site refused to pay me as I had used cash back site for same deal but different nord email. They basically said can't use cashback I site for 2 nord acoounts with different emails.

Best to get new cashback and email account to be safe.

          • @bargainhunter168: can the email on your Shopback & Nord be different without risking a cashback rejected? I've previously had 1 failed tracking. Even though I provided my email confirmation of purchase, cashback was rejected. Definitely didn't use gift cards nor promo codes. Only thing I can imagine is they couldn't match the email perhaps to prove that I purchased.

            • @nsingh21: That's fine, I've had received a cashback when the email I signed up with on Nord is different to Shopback. Nord is only good for bypassing the Federal Court site blocks, its not really for anonymous browsing as they don't have anonymous payment options like Monero and other privacy cryptocurrencies, so it will always be tied back to you in some way.

              • @bargainhunter168: But in your case - the cashback would have tracked automatically? I've only had 1 instance of rejected cashback but that time the cashback didn't track automatically and I had to submit a manual claim. I'm only guessing it was rejected because my SB & Nord emails were different.

Its tracked automatically this time so hopefully all good!

                • +1

@nsingh21: Yep, it tracked automatically. The tracking do not validate the sign up email address on NordVPN, it just checks whether a transaction have taken place.

Try selecting the tax country as USA at checkout and california for state. Should be zero taxes. I’ve done the same

      • +5

Tracked for $130 after 30 minutes. I paid $126 so a little bit of profit. Cheers

        • $130 US dollars right?

        • Did you pay with westpac?

        • Did you select US as tax location or AUS and then just paid with AUD?

      • +2

California has some of the highest sales tax (7.25%). You want Montana or Delaware which have no sales tax. They shouldn’t be not adding tax for California - but if it works, it works I guess.

        • +2

          How could anyone forget Delaware?

          • +1

@sween64: Haha knew it exactly what this was before I clicked on it. Excellent.

      • Do I need to have VPN running on USA server to choose tax on US?

  • Does the eBay one needs to be fully paid by Westpac card?

    • +1

Part payment worked for last upsize offer

    • Historically no

  • +1

Worked a charm with 0% tax for USA

    • They did this to me but I contacted support and asked for a refund and they did.

    • You also can’t remove a card once added to your account, the only way is to delete your entire Nord account which is quite a dark pattern 😵‍💫

    • yeah the tokens are still linked to the card number thats why

    • Did you disable auto-renewal?

      • -1

nope, when I signed up I don't think there's an option like that.

alos, this doesn't justify their endless trial on expiry dates trying to rob me..

So many VPN cashbacks. Where have the sweet alcohol deals gone?

    We needs the spice…

  • Is the cashback just for the standard plan or can you get the complete plan? It says in the terms that its not valid for nordpass and nordlock plans which is basically what u get with complete.

    • Standard only

  • Does this mean "new" Nord VPN customers are eligible?

    • Yeh - can we just sign up with a new email and be considered a new customer?

      • +1

        That's worked historically.

    Couple of questions regarding NordVPN:

    1. Is NordVPN suitable for a relative moving to Thailand but still wants to access Aussie websites (ie. banking, borrowing e-books from city council etc)?
    2. If I sign up to a 2 year Standard plan that costs $80.73 + $8.07 GST (Total $88.80), would the cashback be (1.05 x $80.73 = $84.77), which means total outlay of ~$4.03 for 2 years?
    • No you don't pay GST. Choose a location with no tax.

      1. yes in general unless they block VPNs (like Kayo)
  • Paid $126.50 AUD and tracked cashback of $130.22 AUD. Thanks!

    • Plus an extra $10 if you sign up to a new account with a referral :)

      • I thought they're not combinable. Different links. Or first set up referred account, then follow cashback link to buy?

      • Forgot to that, not sure if referral works

    • Interesting, I paid $160~ for the basic version. Wonder why such a huge discrepancy.

  • +1

I can't see anywhere saying it stacks with THING10/THING15 for ebay

  • +4

Yea not risking it with SP after my previous experiences. I'll stick with CR even at a lower % when available who so far haven't failed me

    • I’m usually the same - much more reluctant to go shopback. But ive been waiting a month or so for a Cashrewards NordVPN deal with no luck

      • It took maybe 3 months for me to get the cashback with CR, I think Nord is just slow 😭
Unless it didn’t track your purchase, then that’s completely different

        • I actually meant for a new Cashrewards NordVPN deal to show up! But if you’ve had slow tracking with CR I might consider SB

          • @Hamish125: Yeah I did the previous CR deal for NordVPN 2 years.

Was tracked within 6 hours on 22/07/2023 and approved and cashed out on 15/09/2023. :)

So hopefully another deal pops up for ya, tho might not be for a while since this shopback one is now active.

You can not really trust Shopback with these VPN cash back deals. They rejected my PureVPN cash back claim after “investigating” it for 50 days. (Well outside PureVPN’s 30 day refund window). This was done despite one of their customer service staff confirming my cash back amount via email. Cashrewards seems to be more reliable.

  • +1

I recently renewed my subscription with Nord and they suspended my account for no reason and without notifying me.

Contacted support and they said about not activity which I didn't do .
Refusing refund so luckily I paid by PayPal and have started a process with them to try and get it back

  • A Free VPN, what could go wrong.

    • Nothing. I only use it to watch F1TV

      • +1

A vpn that pays you to use it, how does everyone think that's a good idea?

VPN mask your IP address, encrypt your data, and provide secure and encrypted connections to protect your online activity. Most people forget the link between you and the VPN company.

        • NordVPN have a good privacy record.

  • +2

The upsized 6% Ebay is for new customer only - existing customer is getting less (1.5%) then if you use westpac you may get extra 15%.
    I’ll pass this time.
    Last promo was 15% + 15% Westpac

  • +1

I saw this early this morning but not sure whether to do it as I was waiting for Cash Rewards to have a similar cashback (95%+). Have read a lot of comments that its hard to get the cashback from shopback for nordvpn, can anyone confirm in the last few months they've got the cash back available to withdraw with no issues? I've got both CR and SB and i don't think I've ever had cashback rejected after being tracked.

  • How long to wait till it's tracked?

Edit: tracked within one hour, $130.22 paid $126.50

  • Does "New VPN Plan Customers" mean users that currently don't have a plan but can be an already existing user?

    • Just use a different email & payment

      • Do you know if the + in the email works with this?

        • not sure but it should work

  • +1

    95% deal didn't track.

    • Mine tracked, used desktop browser.

      • Used Shopback app

        • Oh no !!!

          You can cancel Nord….

          • @jv: …and not get cashback or product

            • @Dyl: Try again though using the desktop and a different account.

              • +1

@jv: Tried with a different account on app and it tracked now

                • +1

                  @Dyl:

                  Win !!!

                  • @jv: Ivacy is 126% cashback on topcashback.co.uk if this isn't enough…

  • Does Nord VPN provides wireguard configs unlike PIA?

  • Question guys.

Do I even need VPN when travelling? I have the Mango GL.iNet GL-MT300N-V2

    • Do I even need VPN when travelling?

Depends what you are trying to do.

      • Just want to making my wifi secure when joining public wifi 99% of the times

        • I never worry about it, I just type everything in an early dialect of Latin.

  • Most important question - can I watch BBC iPlayer with this?

    • Yes governor.

  • Damn, don't even have a $100 in my account to lend for this.

    • Albo must have spent it on his latest holiday.

  • Paid $139.14 and tracked $130 back. Not sure how I got a worse conversion than others in here but ah well.
Been waiting for another 90% cashback since my 3 year plan expired a few weeks back.

  • Can dedicated IP addon be included for cashback?

  • OK, for Nord I signed up again with new email and CC, but after an hour it has not yet tracked via Shopback.

What time frame do I have with canceling this service and getting a full refund if this thing does not track?

    • Update: 1h 15mins it has now tracked!

Keeping my fingers crossed it does not get rejected at any point, as I would have never paid the full amount for this service.
