I received the welcome voucher and put in a price match request hours ago. Still no word back. I've tried the live chat numerous times today but it has been at capacity since early this morning.
Sounds like there's no way the match will be honoured anyway.

How did you bring it down to $384? Isn't the price match just $439.20 + 10% welcome voucher which brings it down to $404?

Just bought these and using today. Not sure I like them - definitely a lot hotter than the Bose QC45. I might return.
Do you mean hotter as in, heat trapped inside the ear cups, and the pads?
Sorry, yes - hotter as in, hotter ears. I'm not sure if that's a product of breathability, or a "tighter" fit (not as much space inside the earcups).
Also the Sony app and signup process feels like a mess - much preferred the simplicity of the Bose app.
I managed to get a trade in price but I do actually have a pair of XM3’s! I had to give my serial number and send them a copy of my original tax invoice.
I just wanted to see whether I could get the price but I’ll stick with my XM3’s for now…

The reason I sold both XM3 and 4 was because my ears touched the inside of the cups :s
For the $325 mentioned earlier? I have XM3s but have a dodgy headband from being careless with them. Wonder if I should see if I can upgrade 🤔
bought one from JB with price match + 10% GC, feel hot and sweat after 30 mins of using. doesn't happen on mx4.
mx4 has better base, mx5 is better on mid and high, IMO
have to turn off ANC auto adjust feature, as occasionally hear sound from outside. ANC was pretty good I have to say, slightly better than mx4.
Bought my XM3s for $219 - 2 years ago, What makes the XM5 worth double?

For me personally, it's not worth as much. I prefer the XM3/XM4 design.
I currently have the HD598, and it is around 10 years old. I've been thinking of getting a wireless one. How does the sound quality compare to the HD598?
Mine turned up today. This is the best eq I've found for them so far. Feel free to play around with the clear bass for preference.

Mine also turned up today after price matching + 10% welcome discount.
I realised it turns off when i take it off my head and thought it was defective, turned out have to disable that function in the Sony headphones app on the phone. Comfort wise it feels the same as my XM3, I know alot of people have complained that it gets sweaty and hot after awhile but that's pretty much the same with all of the Sony XM range. The mic on the XM4 are alot better compard to my XM3s, sound seems to be the same to me?
