Hey Folks,

Spring is starting to bring the heat, so what better time to launch a fruity but still balanced coffee from Ethiopia. This single comes to us from the Aricha region in Yirgacheffe and is roasted by Atypical. You'll be tasting peach, raspberry and orange blossoms in your coffee.

We've also got some tasty value packs for filter lovers :)

Not really into fruity coffees? We've still got 40% off Atypical's Candid Blend and Riverdale

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Tim

Appreciate the feedback. What would you be expecting for a single origin from Ethiopia?

      Cheers

      So keep walking then dawg

  • Candid below $35 as well. excellent price. still have some left, so I will probably order on Friday for next week's batch

    • Great to hear :)

  • Is Atypical Direct Coffee's house brand? Such a nice way to try more interesting beans / roasts at a relatively accessible price point. Just received my Riverdale, so good for the month :)

So glad to hear you’re enjoying the Riverdale!

Not a house brand but we do have shared ownership. One of the partners in Direct Coffee is also a partner in Atypical.

We’ve thought about having our own house brand in the past but it never really made sense because most of our customers prefer variety. And the only way a house brand works is if you roast a large quantity of the same coffee.

So we find that this approach has worked because we’re able to offer an accessible price point without having to give up too much variety.

      Hope that makes sense?

      Cheers,
      Tim

      • That does, always interesting to hear about the various partnerships in the coffee world! Thanks for sharing.

  • Yirgacheffe sounds like a mouthful.

I use one of those stovetop metal things that if you don't keep an eye on explode out the top and boilover usually right around the time I need to shit (2nd cup time). Am I good with expresso? I don't have a grinder…

    • My partner loved her Stovetop but I just couldn’t get into it. Never had an experience that eventful though!

Best to choose the grind option ‘Stovetop’ :)

      Hope that helps?

      Cheers,
      Tim

  • Thanks. Got the yirggy in the natural process. not a bad price for Single origin.

  • How long will this deal last for?

    • Should be enough coffee to last until next weeks dispatch (03/11).
