Looks like these guys are clearing out all Hutchinson stock. There's not a lot, but what there is is worth looking at! Grab 1l for $15.00 or 6l for $70 bringing it to $11.67/L. Great if you're maintaining a fleet of tubeless bikes.

HUTCHINSON Griffus RLAB Folding 27.5 Tyres - $49.00 each or $85.00 for a matching staggered pair.

HUTCHINSON Rep'Air Road Tubeless Kit - $5.00 each, or 6 for $25.00

Never used the sealant before, but giving it a go for the first time. I've used other cheap sealant before and never had an issue

  • Does the sealant work on tubes also?
Is this like the green slime product?

    • It's designed for use with tubeless tyres, so your mileage may vary. I've no experience with sealant in tubes.

  • $10 shipping, nice.

  • Is this some sort of tyre filler in lamens terms? like a replacement to using air? I would love to buy up a decent amount of stock for wheelchair purposes but un sure if this will do the trick.

Still needs to pump air into tyres. The sealant only repairs the puncture by congealing the breakage. It also only works when both the wheel rim and the tyre support tubeless setup.

  • Can you use this on car tyre?

    • +1

Car tyres are way heavier and thicker than bike tyres. This probably wouldn't be appropriate

    • if you run 27.5" or 29" wheels on your auto then your should be fine!

  • Reviews aren't great https://off.road.cc/content/review/accessories-misc/hutchins…

However, that price is phenomenal, the same store has Joes's for $50 a litre, which is a pretty normal price. Rare to get sealant on special.

    • Yeah stans is pretty much the standard and now they have a race version with a bigger particle size so it seals very quickly.

I'd probably have a go with mucoff as well.

    • Doesn't matter how cheap it is if it doesn't work.

  • How to ruin a car tyre….
