Yeah they put 2 aside for me and I showed them the live online price of $124 but they refused to sell and said oh it’s $239 ea now. Complained but manager wouldn’t help.

Thanks O.P. Been watching the Doorbell (Battery) for a decent price drop. Pulled the trigger on $124.
Put in order just after 10am, for 2 of those items. Screen on tablet went to officeworks homepage immediately after paying. did not get email order confirmation. Could see in internet banking that 248 (2x124) was charged to card. Saw nothing all day, until just now (more than 6hrs later) , when i get a text message saying that order is nearly ready to collect. Sweet. Email came in saying order is $478, which is the new price (238x2), not the price when i ordered. Credit card still only showing $248. What should i do? If i collect it, will they hit my card again, for the difference? Seems dodgy that they have changed the amount, and i could have easily collected based on a text message where the new amount isnt shown.
Hnm I got the same symptom when I purchased 3 hours ago, screen went to homepage after payment, CC has shown pending 3x124. No email or text, basically I dont get anything. Bought using guest checkout.
Maybe I will get SMS confirmation tomorrow when its ready for pickup. If not will try calling the store.
Hopefully its showing the correct ammount in the email.

Called about the camera, and he cleared it with his manager. He then said that matching the door bell would be fine. I then corrected him that it was that camera and he said that would be fine as well.
I called and he didn't agree to price match, saying there is low stock in OW in the area! BS!

store was closed when order put through. received confirmation that its ready to pickup and tax invoice this morning - will get it over the weekend as seems its gone through.
