    Would this be overkill for just listening to stereo music on a laptop? Have a modern HP laptop, haven't noticed any audio quality issues.

      I've had this for a year now on my desktop PC with some mid range Logitech (2.1 stereo) speakers. Very noticeable upgrade over the on-board Realtek audio for music. Probably overkill tho.

      You also can't turn it off. If the PCs on it's blue ring is always lit.

    Got this a month ago so my consoles can use my PC speakers and drive my HD6XX headphones. No complaints so far.

    While it isn't a large discount, the X4 is great. It sounds good and I have used it interchangeably with my Laptop, PS5 and Switch for almost 2 years without issue.

    So convenient to be able to feed in another audio source via AUX (like playing music while gaming), just note that you'll probably need to unplug/replug that AUX cord each time after it has booted for it to pick that audio up.
