Hi Howard, This is a requirement from microsoft, they do not allow systems partners to ship windows unactivated. We used to do it and were informed by Microsoft it was against their terms of service, If we could we would :)

        • +19

why don't you do your homework yourself? and why does it concern you?

        • -2

          Now I’m intrigued, Howard.

What makes someone pop up after six years of silent membership, to make comments like that? Are you a troll, a consumer with super high standards or just a bit awkward? What made you comment on this deal in a manner that’s attracted fifty negs, after saying nothing for so long?

          Genuinely curious…

          • +1

            @UncleRico: MK Ultra

          • @UncleRico: A troll doesn't wait 6 years to troll.

And tbh, it is a good question as all the other pre builders are installing unactivated.
            Something is fishy.

      • +1

Do you sell PC's without Windows installed?

        • +1

We do sell certain models without windows installed, but we can install windows if you purchase a windows license

      • Recently got the Aurora I3 for $1188 + 50 shipping (customized etc to $1450), now wishing i went with this deal. just the RX 6700 XT looks a lot nicer than the 3060 ti in terms of performance :(

    • +9

I personally believe they do it just to irk entitled neggers…

    • +8

Not sure if that warrants a negative.

  • +2

Price for the 7900xtx one is stupidity good considering how much they are now.

    • +2

      We think so too!

      • +1

I have never bought a pre-biuld system but if i didn't already have a better system than this i would have bought in a heart beat.
Out of curiosity, if someone buys this sytem, would they be able to customise it to remove the NVME, RAM and the PSU to bring their own?

        • Glad to hear you like the deal! Unfortunately we are unable to allow customers to remove components from the base build

          • @enigmapc:

Unfortunately we are unable to allow

            M$ again eh?

            • -1

@bargainhunter: Dude, If you take away components from base build, they won't be able to make any money. For example, if you substitute all of the components from the base build, it would be a different build.

              • @Naigrabzo: Fair enough. I did vote it a good deal and was just joking about the delicate phrasing. In the straight shooting OzB spirit the rep should just say "No you can't remove parts".

                • @bargainhunter: Haha jokes don't translate on text very well.

I do wish the Enigma rep only answered in riddles and enigmas though…… Would be hilarious.

          • -1

            @enigmapc: Fair enough, thanks mate.

  • +3

Can vouch for Enigma, my partner recently bought a new gaming PC and went with one of their posts from here, very happy with the service.

    • Glad to hear your enjoying your new PC!

  • +6

Hi OP. I appreciate you are trying to build trust and promote a professional image, but please don’t reference TrustPilot. That has to be one the dodgiest and most abused websites that if anything, instills mistrust in the promoted brand.

Great PC build and price btw.

    • +3

Appreciate the feedback Joey! I'll pass it up the chain!

    • What's the deal with TrustPilot? I don't ever look at that just curious.

      • +1

Paid and manipulated by various stakeholders. Untrustworthy Pilot.

  • +4

good price, recently built a 5700X with 6700XT, 32GB DDR5, 2TB Nvme setup, costed me almost 1.8k in the end

    • Similar to mine, I paid major Covid tax though.

      • do you have coil whine on your 6700XT? mine's loud af.

        • -1

Nope. Nice and quiet. Playing it as I type, all good.

    • Wowo that's dear. I suppose price goes up fast if you use premium components and water cooling etc …

      • nah no water cooling, just basic RGB fan cooling.

GPU, MOBO and CPU alone is like 1.1k already.. Case, Storage, RAM, Fan, PSU.. it does add up quickly to 1.8k. Tho I consider it as a "One time" expense. it's my first setup. 5700X AM5 setup should last me a while so moving forward only GPU swaps.

Although i got the 6700XT at an inflated cost of 599 right after covid, in some ways the price is somewhat offset by cheaper RAM and storage. There's a gap of around 10 months between when i purchased them

        • +1

Fair point - should last you a while with decent components.

Do note though, that the 5700X is from the AM4 platform, not AM5. It’s unlikely to present as a problem for many years - just wouldn’t want to see you order an AM5 CPU thinking you’ve got a drop in upgrade and have it all end in tears.

          • +1

@UncleRico: oops sorry, it's 7600X. it's been built and i'm using it atm :) thanks for the heads up tho!

        • Yeah no kidding. The costs do add up fast…. I went with a Nebula 6700XT pre built. Waiting for delivery. $1060 delivered.

          • @Naigrabzo: that's crazy… it's AM4 but whatever.. almost a grand cheaper than mine.

where are you gonna source your Windows 11? I'm still using trial one lol. been looking for a cheap keys for months.

            • @dukeGR4: Ahem….Officekeys.info

I don't have 1st hand experience yet but someone recommended….

            • @dukeGR4: Yes. After looking into it, I decided that I didn't need AM5 because I will be doing some light gaming esports etc generally. I never upgrade my comps. In 7-8 years I will just get another. My i5 silent (fanless) build from 2015 is still going but I don't game on it.

              • +1

@Naigrabzo: tbh i don't even know why i went with AM5, i think i just wanted sth relatively new? I think the GPU is the bottle neck, not the CPU for what i do (gaming).

that said, i hope that i could at least amortise the cost over at least 7-8 years, and maybe change GPU as QoL somewhere between that.

                • @dukeGR4: Yeah no real right answer unless you have a specific need for latest.

When I was using Pc parts picker, there was too much temptation to just upgrade a little etc. I ended up with fully modular power supplies although I don't really even like builds with glass on the side. I will switch off those silly lights once I get my hands on mine.

I am nervous about this bronze power supply though. My previous build has a Seasonic fanless silent power supply that has been rock solid.

I am not that convinced that one could sell GPUs from now well into the future. I suspect that the current GPU iterations being crappy is a fluke. The next level will be crazy and unimaginable by current standards. Lets wait and see in the next 7 years who knows.

  • can one do 4part 1 pay on this?

    • +1

Yes, you can use PayPals Pay in 4

  • Any cases for this with ports on the front not the top?

    • We ahve added the ASUS AP201 as an option :)

  • AlanWoke2 is another VRAM hungry game that shows how 12Gigs are not enough for 1440P RT or 4K Non RT - in case you are looking at 4070Ti. These are todays games. More games will follow in the coming years and you intenend to keep the card for atleast next 2 to 3 years.

    https://www.techpowerup.com/review/alan-wake-2-performance-b…

    • +3

We have added the 6800 with 16GB of VRAM as an upgrade option!

    • +1

You’ll run out of performance long before you will VRAM, anything that eats up 12GB of VRAM already has a 4070Ti at sub 30fps anyway. Turning down the settings one notch solves all the issues anyway

      • True, bit having more VRAM means higher quality textures which does not affect GPU core performance OR FPS, but allows for more detailed texture. I agree game devs are getting lazy by the day and there is no need for such high VRAMs if they optimise stuff. But unfortunately they arent doing it. Also its clear that for a GPU as capable as a 4070Ti and for that price, that 12GB VRAM is low. Even the freakin 3060 had 12Gigs of VRAM.

  • +1

Title deal is really good. The 6700XT alone is $550 at the moment.

  • +2

Can vouch for EnigmaPC also. Bought a gaming PC in a recent deal and delivery was quick, service was excellent when I needed to make a change after purchase.

    • Thanks for the positive comment! :)

    "
Hi, just wondering why you won’t install windows unactivated like every other custom pc seller?"

The beauty here is, this niche business wants to grow their audience yet that's not to say bases of this sellers comment that sourcing the exact parts then selling the pc with the unlisted windows is a new business Howard moon can start and undercut this business making only profit from the sale in other areas.

I mean this niche business can do what ever they want.

    • +3

What the hell are you talking about?? 😂

  • maybe stupid question - will this support a wifi card? looks like separate PCIe slot so should be safe but want to make sure

    • +3

Yes it does support a wifi PCIE card above the GPU, we have a PCIE card with wifi 6 and bluetooth as an option in the customiser

      • -1

Sorry where is this in the customiser? I don’t see it

        • +1

          Next to add to cart

          • @jhlook: I'm sorry I must be blind - theres nothing next to "add to cart in the customiser" except "reset" and "configuration summariser"

          • -1

@jhlook: Apologies, I read it as where to find the customiser

        • You can add it in the customiser by scrolling down to the wifi and bluetooth tab and selecting "ASUS PCE-AX3000"

  • In your post you link a 3090 build that is OOS - any chance of restock?

    • Unfortunately we have sold all the 3090s today, there won't be a restock of any of the PAX Custom PCs, once stock is gone, its gone

      • Unfortunate - thanks, I am hunting that card

      • Got any 3090's you're selling separately?

        • Unfortunately not

    • Why you not waiting for 5090 then buying 4090 Ti?

      https://www.techradar.com/computing/gpu/nvidia-5000-series

      • Too long to wait

  • Thinking of buying two, any chance of a different colour but same case for one of them?

    • We have added a white option of the base case :) Alternatively you can have a look at the CH370

      • Thanks, ordered (they are gifts so thought it better to have non-matching colours but matching cases)

    • DAMN! Nice.

  • How is this spec for 4k video editing?

    • +1

It can do it but we would recommend one of these:

Which option to choose is dependent on what you need to do, if you are editing as a hobby, they will all do great, if you are editing the next pixar movie, you should probably go with a higher end option :)

      • The 7800X3D + RTX4070 TI build looks to be sold out - any chance this will come back in stock?

      • Would also like to know if the 7800X3D +4070 TI, will come back in stock.

        • Currently there are no plans, but it may come back in stock later this week if there is any stock left :)

    • From what I understand the cpu is more important for most video editing apps. Especially cores for the renderring and passive stuff. More money on CPU and much less on GPU is the go.

    • -2

      DUUUDE, Look up this website.

      https://www.logicalincrements.com/articles/videoediting#exam…

For 4k professional video editing you want huge secondary SSD (4tb) and huge harddrive (10tb) storage.

You won't need very high end video card but will need 32gig memory and very fast CPU.

  • +2

Recently had an issue with a previous system purchased for my son and it was rectified quickly. Customer service is amazing.

  • Hi enigma pc, would you mind to take a look of the chat on the website please? I have issue on graphic card and need your support (hotspot 106c).

    • +1

I've escalated your ticket to our technical team, they will get back t you on Monday when they are in :)

      • Thank you sir!

  • 1k for the 7900xtx system?! Am I missing something? The card itself is $1700

    • +1

The $1000 is the savings off, not the price

    • +1

Made the exact same mistake in my excitement, was afraid to pull the trigger as I thought it was a scam. My wife pointed it out to me after about 10 minutes of confusion lol..

  • just got one, couldn't have come at a better time. thanks!

  • a bit of noob here, but i basically need a PC to run power BI and maybe play iRacing and Assetto Corsa. is the pc on sale compatible?

    • Yes. It will prob kill it at 1080p. Not sure about 1440p though.

    • Power BI will run on a potato btw unless you have huge tables.

      • i do have some big ones, hence wondering

        • I think the limitation is memory, i havent had anything that chokes my laptop which is pretty average workspec one

(I dont game on it, I have gaming pcs and stuff for that)

          • @Franc-T: Any recommendation on what to do to avoid it? should i upgrade cpu or buy different computer?

            • @Jackjcca: idk depends on what you are doing. If its slow and you have millions of rows id go add some memory before anything else.

Have it run on a SSD with a pc with at least 16GB. A lot of Power BI slowdowns are software side though. I dont use it very much so id check on reddit or something if you have issues.

  • Can anyone comment on the White PAX (R7 7800X3D + RX 7900XTX) system in terms of being a solid, reliable build that could be somewhat future-proof? Mainly gaming purposes

    • well looks like it sold out whilst I was contemplating it..

    • Yesh. High end system. Probably only second to 4090.
