I've heard bodybuilders talk about eating maccas eggs for breakfast and beef patties, etc, it's not ideal but many of them do it.

Does anyone have issues using codes over the phone ?
Example:
I'm at the McD's but my friend is not.
Friend gives me the code over the phone,
to use in kiosk or over the counter,
to order his special.
This used to work last year,
but it didn't work on the first 2 days this year.
We thought it was a localised issue,
eg. some kiosks don't work, etc.
One of the staff said, that Macca's app
has geo-blocking and detects the Apps is not in/near the store.
This makes sense, but it worked last year,
even with GPS on (unless McD has wised up this year).
yep,, same issues with my folks as well as we trying to get their codes while they're at home.
This worked last year, when I would go to McD's
and my colleagues would phone in their codes,
for me to pick up their orders.
This year, none of my phoned-in codes worked.
A workaround is to login with your friends account, but you also need them to forward the verification email, or at least the link.
As day goes by seems not as attractive anymore.
If deals are only available through an app and cashless transaction then I'm not participating.

I've tried different cc's, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, nox, bluestacks, etc

I had the same issue and did some googling. It's store specific, if you change the address it works.
Likely some franchise don't want to lose money and opt out, McDonald's gives an error code rather than pay franchisees.
I'm having issues at St Leonards but Artarmon works fine.
