[PC] Games for Gaza - 256 Games for US$10 @ Itch.io

37769

A bundle hosted by Oak Grove Games by Esther Wallace with content from 140 creators.

In response to the ongoing crisis in Gaza and occupied Palestine, we're creating this bundle to raise funds for the organization Medical Aid For Palestinians. All funds raised will go to the organization.

From the organization's website: "MAP's vision is a future where all Palestinians can access an effective, sustainable and locally-led system of healthcare, and the full realisation of their rights to health and dignity.

Through our programmes in the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem, and Lebanon, we work with trusted and experienced local partners to achieve this vision. Our programmes, designed and delivered by Palestinians, provide access to essential health services and build local knowledge and skills to address Palestinian health problems. In times of humanitarian emergency, we are ready to respond rapidly with aid and assistance.

MAP is also committed to bearing witness to the injustices caused by occupation, displacement and conflict. We speak out in the UK and internationally, and ensure Palestinian voices are heard at the highest levels, to press for the political and social barriers to Palestinian health and dignity to be addressed." This bundle will run for two weeks, from October 26th-November 9th, 2023.

                                • @gto21: Actually the stat also dominates in conversion, fastest growing rate of people entering Islam. Google it :)

                                  • @What778: I'm aware of two stats: one indicates they lose as much as they gain, while another from years ago shows they lose more than they gain. The data is not that accurate; if you're an ex-Muslim, they can still count you as Muslim to inflate the numbers. The video demonstrates that some of them are atheists but hide it because of the threat of apostasy-related violence.

                                    • -1

@gto21: Even if u take 50% off the. Number is near a billion. U can try to down play and speculate all u want. Islam is pretty solid. Probably the most solid in comparison as it still holds firm to its laws compared to other religions dropping off their laws to better suit themselves.

                                      • @What778: According to Muslims, everyone is born a Muslim. So, we have more ex-Muslims than Muslims. I wouldn't call that solid.

                                        • -2

@gto21: Ur born in a state of Islam actually ( Islam means to submit to Allah (god)) . You as a human being have the responsibility to seek knowledge and determine the purpose of life. We can both agree that humans have free will, and that’s the beauty of the human creation. Free will and the self ability to ask questions and discover what you believe to be true and factual. To be a Muslim you must submit to god wilfully. I’m no expert on any religion but I’ve absorbed a great underdtsnding of them all to understand that religions primary principle is to correct mankind in their doings. As u mentioned paganism that was a time where rapes and murderers were not lawfully convicted for example and I believe all religions brought in justice.

                                          • @What778: You just proved my point. So we have more ex-Muslims than Muslims, making Islam a religion with a significant amount of apostasy.

                                            • -1

@gto21: Even with ur speculated view of apostasy it’s still the fastest growing lol.

                                              • @What778: Communism was fast growing does that make it true?

                                                • -1

@gto21: Lol ur absurd man, u crack me up

                                                  • @What778: Hahahaha, just admit that I got you.

                                                    • -1

@gto21: I will accept communism as a religion ideologically but I would still say islams growth rate is far greater

By 2030 Muslims are projected to represent about 26.4% of the global population (out of a total of 7.9 billion people).

                                                      • @What778: You haven't addressed my question. Just because communism grew rapidly, does that make it true?

                                • -1

@gto21: Lol ur so anti Muslim that ur hoping that one day they just
Stop existing. Yeh I don’t think that’s gonna happen, to start with apparently there are over 7 million muslims that have the Quran memorised. You can’t wipe that.

                                  • +1

@What778: Why do you keep creating new usernames?

I think you should stick to your guns and stop deactivating accounts and posting under different names.

@UncleRico: I think u should rethink ur life as ur time spent on this post is quite morosest. Do you want to have coffee with me?

                                  • @What778: I’ve memorised every word my imaginary friend in the sky ever said to me too.

Where do I apply for tax exempt status and earn the right to blame religious persecution and racism for everything I don’t like?

                                  • -1

@What778: Muslim scholars are already starting to acknowledge different Arabic Qurans and holes in the preservation of the Quran, so they are memorizing different versions.

Uthman burned Qurans, while Ibn Masud and Ibn Kab disagreed with his Quran.

                                    • -2

@gto21: Nope this is false. I’ve once met a friends child that was 9 years old and memorised the whole Quran it’s amazing. There are
Over 7 million people in the world currently kids and adults that memorised it letter for letter. The Quran’s preservation is impeccable and has been unchanged for 1400 years. There probably were some attempts at doing so I think it’s natural for humans to try and corrupt, hence what happened to the bibles and all the versions available that contradict each other.

I don’t know who ur talking about but the Quran didn’t come in one day, it was verbally delivered before it was a text over a period of 20 years. This fundamentally allows the Quran to remain primarily verbal as to avoid any corruption in text. :)

                                      • @What778: I can show you Muslims admitting to different Arabic Qurans and claiming holes in the preservation of the Quran. Muslims and scholars are acknowledging it.

However, I don't think you've even watched the video about an impending tsunami of apostasy that Muslims are discussing regarding Islam.

Allah and Muhammad confirm the previous books. If they are corrupted, it means Muhammad was a false prophet.

                • @nomad17: Agree Hamas are a terrorist organisation, without a doubt.
But to say they are solely motivated by innate evil and not Palestinian suffering is to ignore history.

And it shouldn't be ignored that Netanyhu has found it useful to maintain Hamas as a foil against the PA in the West Bank.
His calculation was that, especially with Iron Dome, Hamas could be contained and occasional Jewish deaths from rockets was a price worth paying to prevent a Palestinian state - until that blew up in his face.
Beyond disgusting, and not a crazy conspiracy theory.
Ehud Barak Israel's previous PM said "Netanyahu had sought to prop up Hamas as a way to undermine the more moderate Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and any moves towards the creation of a Palestinian state. (Netanyahu has been quoted making this argument at a 2019 gathering of his Likud party.)"
The article is unusually moderate for someone from the Israeli establishment, especially at this time, and worth reading (open in private tab to avoid paywall).
                  https://www.theage.com.au/world/middle-east/israeli-statesma…

About the 500 deaths claimed for the hospital - who knows. I'm not convinced previous warnings to evacuate = Israel did it.
But the bigger point is that Hamas health ministry's 10,000+ civilian numbers have stood up.
                  From AP https://apnews.com/article/israel-hamas-war-gaza-health-mini…
                  — 2008 war: The ministry reported 1,440 Palestinians killed; the U.N. reported 1,385.
                  — 2014 war: The ministry reported 2,310 Palestinians killed; the U.N. reported 2,251.
                  — 2021 war: The ministry reported 260 Palestinians killed; the U.N. reported 256.
Personally I found it revolting that the usual suspects were essentially arguing about whether the multiplier of Palestinian deaths to Jewish deaths was double digits or not.
Soon enough there'll be no argument at all.

                  • @Roddi: Hamas is a human rights champions when compared to isnotreal

  • -2

    You guy remember this? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Beirut_explosion

It make a lot of sense, why they didn't get rid of it before the explosion. To make rockets used by hamas.

  • LOL!

  • As for the hospital debate, nice try pushing through an American bias report. Remember America once claimed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and killed 1 million innocent Iraqis? And you still trust their “propaganda”, almost like the blind leading the blind. If you have an open
Mind as you claim, then read this and watch the video https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/20/what-have-open-sou….

The backfired rocket that they claim came from Hamas was actually intercepted by the iron dome as the majority are. It was a clear bombing from Israel, there was a twitter post admitting to it that was removed and also Israel have been warning the occupants to evacuate. Although they knew the task of evacuation was impossible, injured children, men, women, cancer patients and icu patients. They bombed it like they bombed the convoy on the south after telling the north residents to flee, like they bombed the refugee camp. Barbaric and murderous they are. Don’t use the holocaust to support ur discussion it’s hypocritical. This may not be on the same scale but it is a genocide. Definition of genocide; the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.

  • -1

Also the number of deaths is actually advertised on the IDF website. You can also tune in to watch live videos of Palestinians being killed for your pleasure.

    • +2

You use a very colour word such as "killed for pleasure"…playing the poor "I'm a victim" game. How does it all start? who started this? Hamas of course, stop supporting terrorists. Hint..the Saudi is about to sign a peace treaty with the Israelis, but people don't want this to happen.

    • +1

      “For your pleasure”?

Time to take a few days off from t’internets before you get any more ludicrous and do yourself a mischief…

      • +3

        Deactivated?

        Well that was prophetic…

        • Deactivated actually made some very valid claims I must say. gto21 and your comments seem very antagonising towards this conflict and one would assume this is a discussion that cannot be refuted as your arguments fail to have a neutral perspective in comparison to Deactivated and is riddled with prejudice. It’s obvious to see the crimes Israel and Hamas have committed and ur irrationality towards this is concerning. I’m glad the majority public understand that all human life is valuable.

          • +2

@What778: Mazel tov! Thanks for (re)joining the forum, whoever you are… ;)

No one is arguing that human life is not precious, and there’s only been one person I can recall who even suggested that heart-breaking wartime human casualties were “killed for your pleasure” but most valid perceptions will concede that there is plenty of fault on both sides in this one. I’d encourage you to similarly indulge a little empathy instead of insulting everyone who doesn’t share each of your sometimes polarising views on the conflict, lest you get deactivated again.

    • IDF? hahahaha yesss if it has the idf stamp of approval then it's beyond suspicion

This bundle also has this game:

    Doikayt: A Jewish TTRPG Anthology

I just find that funny for some reason.

    • True face of islam. Theyre just following their prophet , nothing else

      • -1

Have a read of this page and read some verses from the old Testament where Jews are being enabled to kill people just for not following their way. Let’s all promote anti semitism, islamaphobia and old sorts of antagonistic prejudice and live happily ever after.

read your torah but not on an empty stomach, it's an encyclopedia of genocide and the art of ethnic cleansing

    • -1

Wow that’s incomprehensible.. also look at this video of grown adult and child Israelis chanting death to arabs.

      https://youtube.com/shorts/P0yY5UbegtY?si=WSxx_rZUuX_uQl58

  • +1

Wow they met their goal easily. To be clear, I support innocent Palestinians and innocent Israeli citizens. Not terrorist Hamas nor militant state of Israel who is collectively punishing civilians, committing war crimes and playing right into the plans of jihadis who are sitting in Qatar and leading hamas.

For Palestine and Israel. You can like both sides.

    • Looks like an orphanage perhaps their parents were slaughtered by the hands of IDF? If your parents were blown to pieces I’m sure you would grow up being very mentally stable. Well said though it’s important that everyone understands the suffering of the innocents on both sides and appreciates our ability to live in harmony in Australia.

      • More like Hamas is the one that slaughtering them, by starting a war with IDF, and the Palestinian people support Hamas, so they only have themselves to blame.
How about Hamas slaughtering 1400+ women and children?

        • True, Don’t piss off the IDF because everyone knows they are gonna come and kill ur women and children, nice logic, completely normal and rational. I condemned both sides to this conflict, but clearly u see the Palestinians as lesser people so u don’t bother to acknowledge their innocent losses. Hamas isn’t in the West Bank and innocents still get killed there by IDF. Just saying.

        • +2

Are you blind? Of course they started the war. All palestinians are not Hamas.

Your flawed argument is this. Lets say 10 drunk aussies go plant bombs in China.

China then sends missiles as retaliation and blows up all of the people you know. Justified? Do those ppl represent you and us?

          • @axlfan: I wouldn’t say they are blind. Just supporters of this genocide. They know exactly what’s happening and condone the act of wiping Palestinians from the face of this earth. Their moral compass is nefarious.

  • +1

Lol yeah nah not gonna give money to terrorists.

  • Qantas could try and win back some brownie points by organising flights to drop the most strongly opinionated experts here in Australia over to the front line on the side of their choice.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if those funds are being used to support the terror organisation Hamas (the governing body of Gaza).

By supporting an Islamic extremist terror group "Hamas", you're supporting terror for both Israelis and Palestinians.

Most Arab nations aren't fans of Hamas and it's concerning that many people in the west have no idea.

I would want to know exactly where my funds are going before putting in an order for this package as it would be no different to supporting ISIS if the funds are going directly to Hamas.

    • Well they have met their goal anyways.

  • I might've supported this if it was clearly focused on humanitarian aid and there was strong evidence it would not be redirected elsewhere, but both those things are severely lacking in the documentation for this package.

  • +1

    Down with hamas

Seems to be one side inciting violence and chanting about the elimination of the other in Australia.
