Don't forget to factor in that you can always get those GC at 10-15%off. 1400 is only 1260 @10% when you do calculations.
It does only make sense if you get to use the 300GB data a month. I use 30GB max and with Belong I get Telstra Network for only $35pm. The saving itself is worth $1536.
Even at 15%, that's still $324 minimum if you cancel immediately and keep the voucher.
Decent deal for a credit check on most people's history, but this is only a favourable outcome for those buying an iPhone 15 model or something like a TV.

Do you mean we can earn point on equifax with that deal ?
I think they mean the only con with this method is that a hard credit enquiry will be triggered on your history, this could look bad when a bank looks into it if you're doing it too much.
If you're not doing it often then there shouldn't be any impacts.
