  • Table tennis for $99 looks like a good deal. I think that's on par with Aldi's price a few weeks back.

get a proper table tennis table (16mm), not this flimsy stuff,
      for $130 on ebay.

      • Thanks for that =) but whats the difference between 13mm 16mm and 19mm?

Thicker table top, truer bounce. I have a 25mm table at home that cost $750 5 years ago!

Big W have an identical table for $68, though stock is pretty limited.

    • identical but the dimensions are better at Kmart

      • I have nothing to base this on, but I suspect these are equivalent - despite what the measurements say. The units look identical, and they've come out at the same time.
My advice would be to look at both Big W and KMart to make up your own mind. Any decent OzBargainer would take the effort to save $31 ;)

        • Some of the features do look really similar, but the measurements they give or so different, that it is hard to believe they would be actually the same. You should really see them built up to get any understanding of the actual size, but they rarely have that in shops these days. Very tempted by one of these though, would give the kids something better to do than Nintendo on rainy days.

The ones I've seen like this were flimsy as hell and definitely not worth half the money.

you have loads of fun with your mate playing with one of these game tables than any tablet or gaming machine!

  • These are really flimsy. Bought a couple for the Uni and getting them assembled took the couple of us a few days.

    • Bummer. I bought one from Big W for $68 - there was no display model to measure how flimsy they are.
Both you and bleemo said they're flimsy … sigh…

  • It is pretty flimsy. Got this one at home.

It is a tonne of fun though! Pool and fooseball are great!!

  • Bought this table on the weekend and it's actually pretty nice for the price. Flimsy yes, but not totally hopeless and not even as flimsy as I expected. Had to try and warn the kids a bit not to sit on it or lean to it too much (as if they'd listen) but at least it has lasted already over 24 hours, which is surprising in our household. For table tennis the table is too small and for the hockey its not slippery enough, but soccer and billiards are great fun for my 4, 5 and 7 year olds.
