Join Origin Internet Plan & Stay for 45 Days or More for 25,000 Bonus Everyday Rewards Points @ Origin

101

Sign up to an Origin Internet plan, stay connected for at least 45 days (as per T&C's), get 25,000 Everyday Reward Points (worth $125).

Plans start at $74/month, so assuming you pay two full months (not sure if cancelling is pro-rata), then you'll spend $148 to get $125 of reward points - but with two months of internet thrown in.

For the OzBargainer, could be worth churning from your current provider to Origin for two months, then churning back to score the points with no real loss (if you're basically paying the same anyway now).

Enjoy.

    Plans start at $74/month,

    for 25/10 plan……….

    • +2

Definitely not worth it at that price.

      • What do you pay at the moment?

        • +1

I just signed up to More Internet so paying nothing for 3 months.

          • @nightelves: how has your experience with them been? I just read a thread on reddit and a lot of negative experiences there which threw me off even trying them for three months free

      • you should look at this positively.

You only need to spend $23 to suffer 25/10 internet speed for 2 months, as opposed to spend $138 to enjoy 100/20 speed from something like superloop.

$115 could make a world of difference :)

I believe this also comes with 12 months of Paramount+

    • I believe you need to be an active subscriber to origin to keep P+..

      • +6

Wrong. I took the last offer and cancelled after getting points. My P+ still going strong.

        • Correct. Same here.

          • @happydude: Fair enough.. their T&Cs state that you need to be an active customer.. so bonus :)

Took me over 5 months and a complaint to the TIO to get my points. Origin were horrible to deal with. They also don't offer the option to disable CGNAT, they want you to pay like $10 or $15 per month for a static IP. Would avoid.

  • To avoid the 10 month wait rule, can I use my wife to sign up?

    • Can anyone confirm if there is a wait rule?

Everyday Rewards points have been increased to 35,000 or $175 worth. (Valid 22/11 to 28/11)

Static IPs are $5 per month.
