its effectively 28% off. its good to buy bigger sets at least 30% off. if you are lucky you might get 40%. if they are clearing out stock 50%.
@cumova: the old days when people can get these modular sets at heavily discounted prices have long gone. 20% off is bottom line, anything more than that will be a good price for these large modular sets.

According to BrickHawk neither of these two sets had gone down to $250 yet. In fact Myer was the only store ever sold them under $300.
