Having just finished my first modular building series last week, this is super tempting.
But I spent $180 on Lego yesterday, and I'm a broke bitch.

AND YET THERE IS FUNDS ON MY CREDIT CARD.

I did the sums so you don't have to, the VIP points you'll also receive on this deal are worth $24.90.

  • Already got them. Good fun sets to build. All the modular stuff is great

  • It's a good deal if you look at the individual prices but dropping $500 on Lego is a decent amount of money!

  • So for those who know it’s it best to buy these deal at $250 each or wait for a sale on the individual

    • Why? Same price as this deal an no need to wait

      • What I meant to say is can these be had cheaper if I wait for individually sales

        • its effectively 28% off. its good to buy bigger sets at least 30% off. if you are lucky you might get 40%. if they are clearing out stock 50%.

          • @cumova: the old days when people can get these modular sets at heavily discounted prices have long gone. 20% off is bottom line, anything more than that will be a good price for these large modular sets.

            • @aec: So true
I have 5 modular sets all of which I waited when they were under $200

My last one was Brick Bank …Haven't bought one since…..
              Miss those days 😭

              • @0806449: you will still get the discounts mate. just the RRP has gone through the roof so you will not get it for $200 anymore.
no one buying lego anymore hence why actual AG store discounting it by 28%…..

        • According to BrickHawk neither of these two sets had gone down to $250 yet. In fact Myer was the only store ever sold them under $300.

            @sauxliu: lol ok mate.
10297 was from DJs 25% off just in June.
also Jazz club was 25% off from AG store couple months ago.

How do i sneak this one past the SO?

    • +3

Just need to have 20+ boxes around to start with. Once you hit that number, they can’t tell if it’s one more added.

Starting with single digits, every extra set is obvious.

        Right. Ordered 20 of each.

  • Have one already so can’t buy two together, bummer

    • +1

Sell the other one? Should be easy to sell either of these for $250

      • Not a bad idea, but for such a big set postage isn’t cheap, might end up losing some though still might be worthy. Will think about it, thanks.

Shipping is $50??? Don't suppose there's any way to get free shipping from these guys is there?

  • Jeez why are modular sets so expensive these days. I have a brick bank and parisian cafe and they only cost $250 at the time…

      corporate profits..i mean inflation.

  • Just ordered titanic yesterday from these guys. Didn’t have in local shop so had to be shipped $100 in shipping (express). Also got the “Lego ideas tribute to Galileo Galilei as a “freebie”.

  • Ordered! Happy wife 🥂🎯
