  • It's actually amazon AU, not Dell AU and item will be delivered in 1-2 months for those wondering

  • Oh man, wish I didn’t order directly with Dell already. Oh well. Next time

    Backpack 15, OOS

I got the 15 from the Dell site a while ago when it was super cheap. It's pretty bad. Very flimsy and soft. Zippers are in a weird place. I only use it now to store an old projector and absolutely would not use it for my work laptop etc.

Agree, got this bag and the zipper is starting to get stuck with minimal use. Annoying to access the main compartment with how it is designed. I'm going to donate mine and get a different bag

  • Will Alienware Area-51m R2 fit into this?

    • seems like junk from post above .. that explains the price

although maybe the 'essential' one is junk, but the other one is decent? it gets great reviews!

  • There's a reason why these are going super cheap. Look at the design of the bag. The main zipper is behind the straps. Not only it's hard to open or close the zipper easy, it's also hard to put anything inside it because the straps would get in the way. This bag is an absolute f'up done by whoever has designed it.

I thonk that is by design to make theft a bit harder.

    • I have one and this design is terrific for travel. No sneaky unzipping whilst it's on your back.

  • I bought the briefcase and the backpack during the last deal, months ago. No issues whatsoever. Sure, the briefcase is thin but I use it to commute on the train with my work laptop. If accidentally dropping it wouldn't protect the laptop and I wouldn't give AF. however, I wouldn't be using it to travel with an expensive personal gaming lappy. As long as you're not expecting something built like a tank (and you shouldn't at this price), you'll be fine!

  • The poor design, I have one. I put it into junk…Zipper behind the staple. You will have waste your time and patience everytime you put or take something from this bag.

The design is like that so no one have access to your laptop without your knowledge while you are carrying the bag on your shoulder.
