      • I just finished chatting with them at ER online chat, and Julieta was able to set me up with the 20,000 points as "goodwill credit" same as you. Took a while, she was clearly helping a lot of people, and accidentally sent me a message at some point that was meant for someone else 😅

        • Damn just did the same thing 🤦‍♂️

All week been getting these cards and they keep coming up ‘failed to activate’ through the Self-Serve, i then have to go to the service desk and they then reprocess the Apple Gift Card? Happened 3 times in a row.

    Anyone else getting it?

    • nope. is staff there clearing it and activating it?

    • Even it is activated my one doesn’t valid at all.. it worths $1200 of giftcards… they said it can up to 48 hours to be activated… put the complain on giftcards support and waited for their response.

  • Had to go in-store over 3 days to purchase 2x500's on the first day (they ran out of 500's), 10x100's on the 2nd day, and 2x100's on the third day.
Little annoying, but it worked. Was not able to actually check if they would limit me to 1000, but it sems to depend on the store.
I will note that I did not have any tampered with or faulty cards. I opened up the 2x500s and 2x100's at the checkout, but I took a gamble on the 10x100's and didn't check them until I got home.

    Thankfully no issues though.

    • ooft thats a shame that there were no 500's mine had plenty in stock but I got it very early in the morning

      • They did initially, but by the second day there were none left :(

Stil got what I wanted, so still happy!

  • The last paragraph written as:
‘In addition to the above terms and conditions, by participating in the Everyday Rewards program you agree to the Everyday Rewards Terms and Conditions. You will not collect points if collecting those points would cause you to exceed 4,000 Everyday Rewards dollars as set out in those Terms and Conditions’

This means max of $200 gc? As $200 gc exceed 4000 er point? I don’t really get it, can somebody help me please? Thank you

    • Would like to know that too. Did you find out?

  • Ohhhhhh…..It’s reward dollars not points. My bad. Sorry.

  • Ugh bought two that had been tampered with.

Learned my lesson. Always open them before buying to check the barcodes match.

    • +1

Sorry to hear, hope you get it resolved.

Ps: could you say which store you bought from and what denomination?

    • Any updates?

Purchased $2000 worth of cards to put towards a new phone tonight. Must say all the comments about people tampering with cards made me a little nervous, thankfully all were fine and order placed on apple website without issue.

    • +2

Yeah, my advice to anyone reading and thinking about purchasing this is go to a checkout with someone at it and ask them if it's okay to purchase and then open in person at the counter to make sure they haven't been tampered with.

I did that, redeemed on my Apple account to make sure they were valid.

Bonus: If buying an iPhone 15 (standard model) - call their sales line and ask to price match Amaysim. Deal on OzB, double dip 10%+10%. :)

      • Nice. How does Apple price match work though? You got the price match then go to store to buy? Can you buy it online?

        • Call the sales line, 133 622.

Ask them to price match and then say you want to use your account balance (assuming you have already added to your account).

  • Any good cash back offers would be great with all these Apple bonus points cards.

  • Does anyone know if there is anyway to check the balance of an Apple GiftCard without redeeming it? Thanks in advance.

  • Can you use WW gift card to buy these?

    • +1

      I highly doubt it.

      • It is against the terms and conditions of all gift cards issued by Woolworths Group to use them to as a payment method for gift cards.

      • If you scan a gift card to purchase, go to the payment screen, select Gift Card as a payment method and swipe/scan/enter a gift card issued by Woolworths Group, you should get an Items Not Allowed error (or something along those lines).

      • If you attempt to use Everyday Pay as a payment method in a transaction where you trying to purchase a gift card and go to the payment screen, you should get an Items Not Allowed error (or something along those lines). You are not able to use Everyday Pay to purchase any gift cards, even if your Everyday Pay payment source is merely a bank card.

Feel free to give it a go if you want, but considering I have encountered the errors myself in the past, I am extremely doubtful it would work if you try.

  • Is there a maximum cap on the points like the similar Cole’s deal that was cap at 20k flybuys?

    • This deal has a cap on the number of gift cards you can purchase in one day to earn points, rather than an overall points cap.

If you look at the terms and conditions of this deal (and this is taken from the deal description):

For cards with a fixed value, limit of 10 cards per day per Rewards Member (can be done across multiple transactions).

For variable card where you choose the amount to load, limit of 10 cards per day per Rewards Member in a single transaction.

  • That is odd, the woolies staff is adamant I can only get $1000 worth and the points is cap…

    • There are two different kinds of “limits” to be aware of in regards to gift card deals at Woolworths:

      1. Any points earn caps/restrictions written in the promotion terms and conditions.

      2. The maximum dollar amount the staff member serving is allowed to approve in one transaction or is willing to approve in one transaction.

There is a chance that the staff you spoke to was thinking that this promotion has a cap lower than what the terms and conditions says. The previous week’s gift card promotion only let you earn points on up to 2x variable load denomination gift cards in one transaction each day, which equates to up to $1000 per day.

Alternatively, there is a chance that the staff member is only allowed by the checkout system to approve a gift card purchase of up to $1000. You need to keep in mind that different Woolworths staff members have different approval limits assigned to them. For example, I once had a very junior staff member acting as the self checkout assistant be unable to approve a $500 gift card purchase; they had to get their supervisor to come over and approve the purchase.

Alternatively, there is a chance that the staff member is allowed by the checkout system to approve a gift card purchase higher than $1000, but they are only willing to sell $1000 worth of gift cards to you. The staff member being asked to approve your purchase is not going to know for certain whether you are legitimately purchasing gift cards for yourself or you are falling for a scam (or something else).

  • Hi do you guys know if the qualifying gift card purchase transaction has to be done in a single transaction? For example if a store lets you do a $5000 in transaction in one day but the assistant only allows you to do $500 for each transaction, will the 2nd - 10th $500 transaction not gain any points?

    • If you are wanting to purchase the variable load denomination, you can only earn bonus points on one purchase of gift cards each day. This has been (unintentionally) confirmed by at least two people already in this deal.

    • -1

Maximum allowance of gift cards such as variable load donomination per calendar day is $999.99 ($500.00 + $499.99 respectively) per transaction. Do not purchase the total of $1000.00 gift cards in one transaction. Woolworths staff or cashiers (even manager/s) onsite has no authority to process the transaction.

      • -1

This is incorrect. Bought $2000 (4 x $500) from my local Woolies in 1 transaction, from the supervisor in the manned checkout. Didn’t bat an eyelid.

Can confirm EDR points received as expected.

Wow, after reading the posts of scam or invalid Apple cards at this stage, I was ALLLMOST to buy Apple gift cards but I choose not to. Thanks for the warnings.

I bought Activi VISA gift cards from WW last week and I like security layout of Activi package before purchasing it. It has concealed barcode protection and for only cashier to reveal and scan barcode at POS.

    • I've seen plenty of tampered Activ Visa cards too, unfortunately. You won't even know you've bought one until you open it up and find that the last four digits of the card number have been scratched off and the CVV/PIN are already revealed.

      • That's unfortunately and that's why I always check cards if there were already revealed or modified before purchasing.

  • Have anyone received your points yet? I am at my 15th business days since my day of purchase (on 11th Nov) and have not received my points yet.

    • +1

      Mine appeared immediately.
