Boost Mobile: $23 Cashback on $17 65GB 28-Day SIM ($6 Profit) @ Cashrewards

3180

For reference, this promo was ended early (1:15pm AEDT) as Boost confirmed Telstra was experiencing technical issues across multiple platforms, resulting in the inability for anyone to check out & purchase from Boost's website (error screenshot here). Thank you.

*Update 9:42pm: Boost checkout working again. Increased to $23.23 cashback for final 2 hours here.

Hi guys. Final chance to grab Boost’s 65GB SIM for just $17 before the discount ends tonight. Cashback offer also ends 11:59pm AEDT unless withdrawn earlier by Boost and/or Cashrewards. @BargainsGrabber has a fabulous FAQ here which should answer a lot of questions.

Please also read my handy tips below before proceeding (orders are currently tracking to members within 15 minutes of purchase). Stay safe, and enjoy :)

  • Important: Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. Adding more than one SIM to an order will result in an untracked purchase.
  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering.
  • You must return and click through Cashrewards for each new transaction.

Handy tips:

For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click before purchase. Just navigate to Boost via one of the two offers on Cashrewards and buy. Try our iOS/Android mobile app for great tracking results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

    Great deal though, thanks TA!

Nice arse, you made me get out of bed. InB4 something went wrong comment.

  • Anyone know how to do ID verification for pets?

    • +2

Will need to take them to driving school first.

    • +3

You can use Touch ID for cats and dogs. For fish, it’s a little more complicated…

      cant you use same account?

This is in the league of legendary deals for sure

  • I made an order on one of these deals 3 weeks ago but yet to have my order shipped. If I don’t activate within 30 days of ordering is my cashback rejected?

    • Yes

    • +6

Theoretically, but don’t panic. CR/TA will probably help you out. If it was Shopback then you’d be on your own.

    • never activated any of my Sims but they were all approved

  • +4

Did anybody else’s butt just clench with excitement? Just kidding… I don’t wanna know…

    • +2

We are sure you wanted to know. Why else would you ask such a question?

      • +2

I’ve made a note to ask my therapist

  • I keep activating new sim and let them expire in my account. Would that be any limit in one boost acc?

    • +9

      35 Sims is the limit.
You can contact Live chat to remove any expired numbers from the account when you hit the limit.

But, in my experience I am still having trouble activating new sims or buying new sims

      • +3

The limit is 'SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG'.

      • Creating another boost acc with diff email address?

        • +5

It's based on your identity, not the email address

  • +1

Will boost ban you if you buying too many? Not sure why they keep giving out free money

Also another tips is that if you are buying multiple, go on live chat and get them to bulk activate for you. Save you from going through the activation again and again. Just provide them all the serial numbers at once

    • +1

So you know Boost reps will activate many SIMs in one go, but you don't know the answer to one of the most common questions asked!? ;-)

  • must new record high…

in saying that, by assuming everyone "invested" a lot, what if they are not honored at the end?

    LOL

    • GoFundMe?

    • Gee, could you imagine. We'd be scrambling to get every bit of value out of each sim.

    • +2

Boost playing the long con for $17!

  • Giggity

Now even visting cats got their own Boost service around home.

Be careful that they don’t make too many downloads

  • Nice. Tracked instantly as always.

  • +7

    'SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG' again

    • +2

Try not use preset address, select 'I can't find my address'.

      • +3

I did that, but then it said Wow… you must be pretty drunk…

      • I think you're the only person this worked for lol.

  • +1

Hope that there will be a deal for annual plan soon (around this time last year).

  • +1

These days I buy in bulk and one always goes missing ;( boost wont send a replacement and aus post wont follow up. Either way, thanks Op!

    • Does the missing one track the cashback though or does it get rejected cuz u didn't activate

      • +1

It tracks. But because I never receive the sim, I can’t activate…resulting in no cashback. Oh well, with all the other boost sims I’ve activated in the year I’m still in an overall profit. Still a bit annoying though…

        • +1

I received someone else's name but under my address…

        • Well that contradicts what someone else said in the last couple of Boost threads (that they always get cashback without even activating).

  • How long does it normally take to get the cash back? I can see cr shows within 95 days, but have had many places confirm well before the maximum.

  • Feel good to be part the all time high profit history. Ordered 4 for family members and friends.

    • +2

Imagine telling your grandchildren about this one… they will hardly believe it!

      • +2

Nah… In ten years Boost will paying our home loans out to become customers.

  • +1

I was able to get around the error message by typing everything in rather than use the pre-fill selections that are saved in the browser. It worked for 2 or 3 orders before going back to the error message. Have even tried orders using a family members details that have never bought before (different address, phone number, payment details etc) and still not working.

    • Should have cleared the browser cookies/cache first, changed your computer login username, and reset your modem to get a new IP address (if you have dynamic IP). If you try again after doing these first you'll probably also need to use a third person's ID. To be extra safe I'd close all other programs running in memory.

Maybe having the same IP won't matter, but it's a big reason why I will never have NBN. (Using SIMs for internet gives you a new IP address at every modem/phone restart. I've never understood why anyone would want a static IP address. Gamers say they "need" it but it's just a matter of making some changes, once, so that each new IP address resolves to some second one automatically. I forget how, but I looked it up online years ago and had it working in minutes. Dynamic IP has more benefits than "needing" a static one for gaming alone.)

      • I use these SIMs as my internet haha

  • 'SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG'

Seems so random that it works sometimes and then it doesn't for no reason..

  • +1

Is there a limit to how many sims you're allowed to have under your name

    • 30

      • Where did u get this information?

        • +3

It’s actually 35. I’ve been through the ringer with boost. You hit the limit and then request several activated sims to be deactivated from your account.

      • Activate one each day?

        • You can activate 3 in each chat session but rinse and repeat through the day.

          • +2

@MakeBread: This is rubbish. I have activated with many diff CS and more than 3 have been doable, and only recently told i could activate 3, due to their new system not allowing more than 3. I played along, got it activated, ended chat.
Went back in with another person, asked to do 7, no qns asked and bam done. If u dont want the hassle, hang up and relaunch live chat, just like Amazon :)

            • @noelhoi: Thanks for the info. I’ll give it a crack

            • +3

@noelhoi: They're probably only saying that because the longer they take to "solve an issue" their monthly stats look like they're less efficient than others at their job. i.e. They know limiting the number of activations per call keeps their time per call down and their stats up.

      • 35

      • +1

@StarPlatinum Last week, Boost customer service told me 30 is the max. However many here say 35

        • +5

It's the age-old story since the internet began, that reps are the ones who understand their jobs the least.

  • all time high :D

    • +1

All I wanted was a sweet distraction for an hour or two

  • Unbelievable!!!

  • -5

I was with Boost for a month, then decided to go with CatchConnect. 180gb data and unlimited calls package on Optus 4g network is $150 and 260gb data is for $200 (both 365 days expiry), which is c.a. 30% cheaper than Boost.

    • +3

This is a post for a 28 day 65GB sim with $6 profit, as mentioned in the title.

    • +2

Kinda missing the point of this deal though…

    • Yeah I use about 80GB a month, so I can't wait to pay $150-$200 2-3 times a year instead of them paying me. Let me at it! ;-D

  • Does anyone know if cashback is still coming while not activating the sim within 30 days?

  • Where is the cheapest to port out so I can port back to Boost? Thanks.

    • I've used Aldi $5 in the past. might be cheaper options.

      • Thanks. I port over Optus and it wasn’t that great.

    • I am currently on a $4 amaysim month sim that was on sale at woolies. Keep an eye out on specials.

      • $4 Lebara XS Starter Pack at Coles at the moment.

  • May I ask why people getting 15 of this? Isn’t that means you have to port in port out every month? Doesn’t means you have to buy another set of non Telstra networks sims?

    • +2

      $90 free money?

    • +4

People are not porting. They are registering as a new number for each sim and taking the $6 profit.
