Wouldn't want those ingredients in my body, especially titanium dioxide.

    • Probably shouldn't be ingesting anything artifically white or light in colour then.

As of 2006, titanium dioxide has been regarded as "completely nontoxic".[4] Widely-occurring minerals and even gemstones are composed of TiO2. All natural titanium, comprising more than 0.5% of the Earth's crust, exists as oxides. Although no evidence points to acute toxicity, recurring concerns have been expressed about nanophase forms of these materials. Studies of workers with high exposure to TiO2 particles indicate that even at high exposure there is no adverse effect to human health.[79]

But its just science, opinions are more weighty.

  • Snake paste?

Nope its good my dentist recommends it and look it up. It strengthens enamel. 'Delicious' is a stretch,,,

    • My daughter has hypoplasia and this was recommended by the dentist to protect her teeth.

  • Dentist recommended it last time and was thinking about it. Jumped the gun. Thanks op

  • can provide extra protection for teeth, buffer dental plaque acid from bacteria in the mouth and also protect teeth from acidic foods and drinks

I don't want to buy a product that can, I want to buy a product that will.

    • +1

      It does work.
The only reason that we can't guarantee that it will is because it relies on the subject for it to work.
      In other words
      1. It relies on you to use is consistently and correctly
      2. It relies on you to have a reasonable diet, if you're drinking multiple cans of soft drinks a day, no matter what product you're using the acid will still damage your teeth.

Tooth mousse is developed by the University of Melbourne in conjunction with GC corporation based in Japan.

      • Is it recommended to apply with brush or finger? Vaguely recall been advised to rub around teeth with finger

      • Thank you.

      • The point of the mousse is recaldent, the artificial filler ingredients aren't needed. They should've sold a natural version.
The good thing is their patent is going to expire. Then other companies can make their own products. Probably going to see it in toothpastes.

  • Don't buy it unless your dental practitioner prescribes it to you. If you've been a patient at the same clinic routinely for a couple of years, consider calling the receptionist and asking them to ask your dental practitioner if you should buy it or not. They could possibly read your old records when they get a moment and make an educated guess without an in-person consult (or not, but what's the harm in asking nicely?).

  • Perfect timing. Dentist just recommended me to start using this. Couldn't get myself to try the melon one… I guess I associate it to how melon tastes after using toothpaste even though this is not toothpaste.
