Overrated at $220 worth it at $80. If you have wide feet go 1/2 a size up.
As someone with slightly wider feet, going any size up is generally not a great idea. Going a size up changes the length of the shoe as well as the width, I highly suggest if you've got wide feet just to find a shoe that's designed to be wide at your desired size, rather than sizing up on a shoe that's comparatively narrow.
Got schooled by a sales guy when I bought some shoes for hiking, and they're a whole size smaller than I used to get but specifically for wide-feet and they're my most comfortable shoe despite being somewhat heavy/leather etc. It's about the bending point of the shoe as well, makes a big difference IMO!
.5 is the wide size for Nike (in general). Toe shape can also make a difference. Better to measure foot on A4 and add 1-2cm to get your cm/JP size. Then use that vs US & UK sizes

I haven't tried these so please bear that in mind with what I say next. I have found that basketball shoes provide a certain amount of rigidity and structure around your heel, ankle, side and front of the shoe so that you can change direction, and start/stop better. Normal sneakers lack the structure and can feel very loose so that when you try stop or change direction, the shoe can stretch a bit and your feet end up sliding inside the shoe. That looseness feels very unsafe and on several occasions I had to stop playing in those shoes. As a minimum, it certainly does not inspire confidence.
Then there is the cushion and absorption that is required for repeated landings, and conversely, the spring required to get up jumping constantly (you want cushion for landings, but rigidity for launching up when jumping). These are not there for the conventional sneaker. So, you might want to bear that in mind before considering non-basketball shoes for ball.
I'm no expert, but I've tried playing in non-basketball shoes, and would not do it again.

They are very comfy shoes, when I had a pair in 2020 it was like walking on pillows. However don't be surprised if your toes gradually poke through (bottom looks/feels like a shoe, the top halfs material is almost like aqua sock/reef shoe style). They only lasted 3 months for me :-/.
In those kinds of shoes, you need to put a square of duct tape inside where the toe contacts. ASICS is known for failing there as well.

I've been an Air Max wearer for so long it's not funny, the 270 being my latest favourite, and one of my two pairs is starting to wear so was shattered to miss this phenomenal price.
