Ozito PXC 18V Cordless Line Trimmer Kit $169 @ Bunnings Warehouse

60

Similar deal to this one

However allow for 12 months bunnings inflation and a 4ah battery instead of 2.5. Battery itself is worth $60. If you’re like me who got the 2x4ah with fast charger deal then this single charger will go on marketplace for extra $$

Couldn’t find online however there was a whole pallet of stock available.
5 year warranty. Can’t go wrong for the price…!

Not worth it in my opinion!

This unit is hot garbage, head burns out very easily. Have returned 2 of them, do not recommend.

Are you commenting on the old blade style trimmer or the line trimmer? Ozito have had a few variants in the last few yrs

Line trimmer. Bump feed is also garbage. Check the reviews on the bunnings site, way too many 1 star reviews with burning motors, short lifespan and bump feed issues.

Bought an Ozito to Ryobi battery adapter, plus a Ryobi 18v unit. Best decision ever.

        • This is auto feed not bump

        • Did you get the regular 18v Ryobi, or the 18v brushless?

    Here’s the Bunnings link: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-280mm-cordless-lin…

Been considering this one to replace the 36V Ozito one I have which I find too bulky and painful to use with the bump feed.

Are people here confusing it with the one with plastic blades?

    • I just swapped for the same thing. The 36v is a pain as it doesn’t allow for edging.

  • As much as I love ozito, the trimmers aren't too great. I had the 36v line trimmer. The motor always burns out and smokes as soon as it struggles. I went through 4 different units Hoping to get one that would work well because an electric trimmer is absolutely convenient. I've had them burn within the first 5 uses. I also tried putting a Lil Juey on it but it just made the motors die even quicker.

Keep your receipt incase you're not happy with the 18v

  • Thanks OP. Will pick one up today.

A bit worried it won't be strong enough for my buffalo grass (especially edging), but hard to justify the Ryobi prices when my garden is pretty small.

      If not simply return.

  • I got the blade one it’s crap, don’t even bother the refill blades online which are made from crap material than the original Ozito blades which doesn’t fly off when hitting something thick

  • What brand of Edge Trimmer is cheap and worth it then, if this Ozito model seems to be hot garbage?

  • +2

I got this to replace the blade trimmer. I'd grown tired of the blades falling off, plus they didnt last very long and were very expensive.

This one is much, much better at cutting through my buffalo lawn. No smoking motor problems so far (i thought that was limited to the 36v unit?)

PS. This is not a deal - this is the normal price.
