        Impact socket sets don't generally come with ratchets as they are designed for use with impact wrenches. But you definitely can use them with any 3/8 ratchet though.

          Only because Sydney Tools did had them at $99. Boonoir were told and adjusted an extra 10% down to get in line. Awesome sockets, but thicker walls than most Cr-V ones, so sometimes won't fit in tight spots.

      It's a pity that 3/8" impact wrenches aren't more prevalent. This socket set would be ideal. but then again, I mostly use the Ryobi mid-torque 1/2" impact wrench for the larger sizes.

        You can buy 1/2 F to 3/8 M impact adaptors for about $15. The set I linked to above actually includes one.

      Assuming it's a 1/2" square drive and it's an impact wrench, then you want a 1/2" impact socket set.

      You can go impact but going off memory from similar questions the durability of impact ans non impact wasn't all that different.

      Having said that, iv never researched the matter personally.

    bought the one for $119 today at sunbury store, plenty of stock. big thanks OP as id been chasing a kit like this for a while.
    the $119 one seemed the best value bang for buck from what I could see, had every size including 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2".

      Definitely the 111 piece for $149. Just that the 1/2" sockets are 12 points. 6 points would have been better.
