I think Nokia is bloatware free (as I think it is Android One).

    • Just purchased one. It runs on Android One. Hardly any bloatware.

I think buyers for the G60 will be very happy for the money, I've owned Nokia Android One in the past (Nokia 7, 7.1,7.2 and 8.1) and preferred them to my current Oppo (X5 lite Android 13) went Oppo as it was my spare phone and when my Nokia 8.1 had an issue and never got around to switching back when it came back from repair . Just hit buy on the G60 this morning which I will keep as my spare phone. Hard to beat at $248. Nokia are good on repair though a bit slow as repair is done via an agency in NSW. My 7.2 got water damage (my fault leaky backpack in rain cycling home), dried it out, sent for repair and they fixed it.

I think at these sorts of price points though you have a spare and repair times don't matter, not sure what people do when a $1000 phone goes in for factory repairs.

  • Does this includes a case?

    • I bought 2 (for my mother and myself) from JB Hi-Fi.

No case, no charger. Just a short USB C to C cable and a pair of wired earbuds (3.5mm jack).

I also ordered 2 cases + screen protectors from AliExpress for ~$18. Hopefully will arrive before Christmas.

  • Well I bought this phone mostly out of necessity as my old one was dying.

Am really disappointed with the speaker quality though. I think I never had a phone with speakers this bad.

Not very loud and sound extremely tinny.
