I use too, been on Optus for the past month and all I can say is, I’m impressed. I have been with Telstra/Boost/Aldi for years, and tbh, Optus actually outshines them for me in my area. I actually get reception in lifts, basements, hallways etc for once
@BatmanAU: I can agree with that, indoors Optus shines, where telstra may show full bars but will have very slow throughput

You can not default on these plans like other prepaids, i.e. payment is enforced on renewal like Belong.
You can only talk to an operator to remove the payment now. That's an effort I don't value it worth doing.
Whats best for porting out / back in for Boost?
On kogan, this would be cheapest.
Might find a prepaid sim with credit for slightly cheaper at $4 ish at woolies/coles to port in and out.

Nope, can't activate a Sim with no credit on Kogan.
I got a extra small Lebara last week at Coles for $4 and it has double data til 26 march. Might still be on
Aldi Mobile 365 PAYG plan for $5 .. with 60 days to use the initial $5 credit is an option
I tried kogan after a long time but had to abandon my yearly plan due to coverage /signal issues and drop outs during phone calls. It was so bad that I had to switch back to Boost.
Tested out Vodafone, 10mbps down, 0 mbps up - 1856 ping.
What area? Depends but I have experienced worse 50 metres from a Vodafone store.
