From my experience this product is not pioneer brand. I have bought this before and the product actually is a compatible with pioneer not Pioneer product.
The actual product is not similar to the image at all.
The lens is a flat glass not the curved one.
All the screws were silver not black.

This can be used with any Head unit that uses an RCA video in. So pretty much everything from Sony XAV/Kenwood/JVC/Pioneer and some Alpines that don't use a 5 pin connector or use CAM-ALP-ADP with the 5 Pin Alpine video in's.

I got mine from ebay - just over $10 for it . I ended up getting a version that substituted into the license plate lamp.. Just search ebay for 'reverse camera Car_model'

      • Agree, I bought one similar to this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145248728086?hash=item21d17fb416…

It's great, I drilled a hole in the tailgate handle (underneath next to number plate light) and it fits flush and looks quite professional looking compared to this one that is on a hinge. Yes the downside is no adjustment, but the angle was right anyway. $30 is a bit much I feel even, and $159 yeah nah….

Seems to be a normal sale price.

  • For the price this is expensive.

Mine I got from AliExpress and does 1080p with a Sony sensor.

  • when i bought my kenwood head unit the shop chucked in one of these and it works fine.

  • Confirm bought this on Sunday and installed with a Sony XAV AX5000. Works great!
O'Connor and Spearwood WA were both sold out though, call ahead for stock since online wasn't accurate for me.
