FYI almost once a month a deal is posted for the Elite 7 Pros at $150.
How are these compared to the pixel buds pro and apple pods pro or other brands in terms of sound and noise cancelling. Still having my earphone for over 12 years and thinking I am FOMO abit.
I returned the pixel buds pro and got a 7 active instead, much better fit, nicer software . controls are actual buttons in Jabra compared to a touch surface for google. connection to 2 devices at the same time is not perfect (keeps pausing on pc if your phone notification dings) but if 2 phones or you pause one or the other it's great. sound is a bit subjective but I like the Jabra sound much much more.
if you use one device , I would get the Jabra. no regrets
I have the elite 7 Pro and the Samsung Buds Plus, and the Samsung Buds Pro 2.
Personally I find the sound quality on the Elite 7 Pro to be better than the other two. The other main differences being that they're not as slippery (Buds Pro 2 are very slippery to hold), they have tactile buttons as oppose to the capacitive touch on the others. This has the upside that you don't accidentally hit the button, but it also means that it works differently. Two or three button presses for advanced features while the Buds you can hold down on the capacitive touch buttons (mute, hand up, activate ANC)
The ANC is slightly better on the Buds Pro 2 over the Elite 7 Pro, but the Elite 7 Pro has better water resistance than most.
Does anyone know if the Jabra Elite 7 Active stay in your ears well when going for a jog or working out?
yes, it does, only when you find the right tips. work out is fine, jogging is a bit hard due to slowly loosing out and you have to press that in which will stop the music. same as Sony mx5,
I have found them to be the best earbuds for jogging that I have tried. I have always had trouble finding buds that don't fall out.
elite 7 active was $99 when OW had them for clearance.
bought one, left bud not working, not charging.
swap another set, you can hear your foot step sound form the earbud while you even just short walk in the house.
Return it.
Mate bought 7 pro from last $149 deal. no issue at all.
