    I think CotD made a boo-boo in the title - pretty sure that's a G105, not a G015. Further in the details, they refer to it as a G105.

        The mouse is just a differently shelled g9x.

        It's one of the best FPS mice on the market and it has been for years.

        The only reason I pass this bundle each time it comes around is because of the tacky MW3 branding.

        you can't buy the unbranded g9x outright for cheaper than this bundle… which says a bit about how ugly the branding is.

          i find it difficult to read the logo through the back of my hand.

          i bought one recently and find it a comfortable mouse to use, adding weights is handy, and of the shells that come with the mouse find the branded one a good size. the logitech packaging is embarrassingly over the top in this day and age.

          i purchased the mouse on its own as i checked the keyboard and it is of average build IMO, and not my preference.

          COTD processed my order efficiently, arrived in good time and was packaged well for protection.

          I too find it difficult to read the logo through the back of my hand, but having CoD3 in my peripheral vision everytime I type using two hands is something I can happily do without.

      the mouse is pretty crap to be honest i know the gx9 is a popular mouse it has good reviews but in all honestly i hate it the mouse wheel is soooooooooo hard to click
      but the keyboard im typing on it now its very good way better then razor

        I agree…. the g9x suits some people but it really is rather poor compared to other mice logitech have offered in the past - and don't expect it to live very long (hence my post above about warranty)

        G105 is pretty good.. the MW3 decals ddo suck though and the LED backlighting is green only (good for nvidia case ricers :p)

        I love the G9x.. perfect for me.
        But to be honest I do now use it shell-less as my 'style' has changed.

        I have to agree that the wheel is a little hard to click… and I don't even bother trying to click it left/right.

        I love the macro functions etc.
        I've given this mouse hell.. it's held up well over 2.5 years or so.

        I agree that the branding is a turn-off.

          i use the thermaltake black mouse comfortable and the mouse wheel is click-able lol and before that i used lechesis its just the mouse wheel is so hard to use on the g9x

        Totally agree, I have a original G9 and using in programs such as CAD where double clicking the MB is essential its really quite a task. I also use a g15 keyboard and if this keyboard is any comparison I find the G15 keys a little light (especially for uni etc.)

    u guys should be asking if the other shell provided is branded with COD cos it doesnt look like on COTD, though this could just be a marketing ploy and the second shell comes with COD MW3 on it lol

    Just rub the ^#@^en Call of Duty logos off! That's what I did.

    A little bit of warm water + sandpaper/scourer will do the trick.

    I own this combination too, love it. My only little whingey gripe is about the LED's being stuck green on the keyboard, but the mouse is killer if you set it up nicely.

      My biggest gripe with the keyboard is the lack of a wrist wrest. My Razer Lycosa had it, so did my office-oriented Microsoft keyboard, I can't understand why logitech made a gaming keyboard that didn't support one.

    The G9x constantly emits a high frequency hum when powered on. It wasn't too bad on my older one but louder to the point of being quite annoying on the second one I owned. Wouldn't recommend for anyone under 25.

    I bought the G9 in '07 when it retailed for 180 (i got it for 140 after boxing day) and didnt regret it. have used a few mice (razer deathadder, MS sidewinder) and the G9 s**ts all over them. Id get this if i didnt already have another one i got from LTS after their sales. If you need to buy a shell form ebay, get the soft feel one, i never use the other one its crap.

    I JUST bought the g9x less than a week ago for $75 from MSY… Instantly regretting it now that not only could I have saved 10 bucks but also would've gotten a keyboard with it!

    I bought the g9x to replace my g9 that only was replaced due to my pet rabbit eating the cord :(

    Awesome mouse wish this deal was released a tad bit earlier :P

    I highly recommend both of these products. At the price they are at, and if you are ok with the MW3 decals, you simply can't get better value for money.

    The mouse is great - I have no idea what people are talking about with the hard to click scroll wheel, works just fine for crysis 1 switching suit modes left right and centre. It's precise as and fits perfectly into my hand (claw grip). Apprently it's bad for people who palm their mice. I was looking at these mice - Razor Naga, Death Adder, and the logitech G500. Since gettig this mouse, I haven' even given them a thought.

    I was pretty hesitant to buy the keyboard, because it had nothing I wanted besides backlights - I wanted one with slim keys such as the Razor Lycosa. Money ended up being the winning factor and I have to say I am very happy with the keyboard. The keys are brilliant even though they are the old school fat ones (which I haven't used for upwards of 8 years). Despite the MW3 branding, it also looks pretty snazzy. A negative on it is the macro keys are kinda annoying. For some people you may be fooled into assuming the top left key is still the Esc key, but the extra row of macros changes that.

    I got mine a few months back for a total of $80 so at 64.80 this is a steal.

    I purchased this combo last time it came up on COTD, and it's fantastic.

    Things to take note of, if you can't adapt to using a claw grip then don't bother, the mouse can't be used with a palm grip.
    This is by far the best mouse I have ever owned, I had a Razer Lachesis before this, and the G9X is far far far better.
    The accuracy is excellent, and it glides over my mouse pad with ease.
    Great build quality.

    The keyboard is fantastic, keys feel great, can't fault logitech on build quality there at all.
    Probably lacking in buttons is the only thing, but you get what you pay for.

    All in all I love this combo!

    the left shift on the keyboard isnt really my cup-o-tea, it is really hard to press down if your finger is on the far right side of it. It's annoying enough for me to stop using it when playing starcraft 2…

    Bough this on the 4th Thurs arvo just before the weekend. Arrived today Tuesday 9th! Awesome fast delivery from COTD!! just like my led lensers deal from QQQ last time!!

    Using the mouse at the moment… nice feel…. love the changeable LED colors… had to install setpoint software. Wish this would have integrated with the Logitech Gaming Software my G930 headset uses so i wouldnt have so many things running in the background.
