Food information and menus - The general consensus is that Virgin Voyages offers some of the best food of all cruises. Plenty of reviews on YouTube; ships have different names but are all mostly the same. No buffets means everything you eat is freshly made to order. Extra Virgin and The Test Kitchen some examples of best food options on board.

  • Wtf no buffet??? Isn’t that standard ?

    • +1

Concept is a bit different to standard cruises. Basically everything is made to order. I think it's better and do prefer my food made to order in a restaurant like setting. You'll find most reviewers will say that this one of the best cruises for it's food.

  • Sir Richard arse Branson thinks buffets are for pheasants so no.

    • +6

Never seen a pheasant eat at a buffet 😂

    • What if you are not the pheasant plucker, but the pheasant pluckers son?

A cruise without a pig trough … Not sure about that!

  • I’ve applied the discount code but don’t see no 50%? Or are these prices already discounted?

    • I found if I applied the code for one route and went back to see other routes, the code has already been applied. You can remove the code and reapply the code to check the price.

I am not sure if anyone has been able to book anything. I have been trying to book this one (Resilient Pacific New Year's Ahoy 14 nights 29 Dec - 12 Jan) for 3.5 hours and it keeps going to a 404 page.
I kept ringing the call centre from 8pm and only got a message that they were closed for the day (but says it closes at 9pm on the recorded message).
I tried the chat function but it was a useless bot.
I have gone through Facebook Messenger with no response and also sent an email but that auto-responded to say that would reply in 5 days.
Any help would be much appreciated.

PS - I forgot to mention that I tried booking on both android and an iPhone using the Virgin app on both devices as well as the relevant web browsers. I also tried to book on my laptop using Chrome, firefox and IE to no avail.

      • I just got a very helpful response via FB Messenger. Even gave me a direct link to the one I was looking at.

  • Seems odd.

Quite pricey, even with their "discount".

    Will wait and see.

  • Has this worked at all for anyone?
Applying discount code doesn't change the final price at least for me lol

  • Is the price in USD or AUD?

Ok I`ll answer my own question lol

Cabin booking cost was A$1985 and Mastercard payment showed up pending $1985 AUD
Two days later Mastercard shows Virgin Cruise Intermeplantation USA charge of $2044.55 so I guess 3% CC fee $59.55 on top added.
Funny thing is there is another charge Foreign Fee of $59.55 uhmm WTF :)
