I play the sim racing solely on my console not pc. At the time when I tried to decide what wheels to buy, there were so many good choices (including fanatec). I settled with the Logitech coz how easy it is to just plug and play with consoles, but then the totally unexpected reason I love the wheel so much over others is actually because of its “Trueforce” feature. It simulates so much more than steering’s motion including engine vibration, road surface bumps and gear changes click.
I once had it turned off, it feels like 50% of the “feeling” was taken away. Absolutely blown by it, excellent wheel….hopefully other wheelbase will start having the same feature!
You can do this with any of the top end wheels, and they are far better at it, but it does generally require more setup and diving into the features.
Pretty much all wheels on the market really are exponentially better. Even the cheaper belt drives. Never mind the direct drive motors.
Do you mean many top end wheel has similar function as Logitech’s Trueforce?
Oh, forgot to mention, mine is Logitech G Pro wheel…i am sure it’s not “the BEST”, but for what I need (playing solely on console), it’s easy and fantastic…
Yeah there's definitely a huge difference between a g923 trueforce and a logotech g pro trueforce since the latter is a direct drive base while the former is a gear driven base.
