It's a good price but I've been stung by Newegg before. Proceed with caution…

Yeah, check the reviews (of Newegg), I'd avoid

So many bad stories around. I wouldn't risk it unless it's so cheap you're willing to write something off as part of the deal.

  • Great drive but newegg is not worth the risk.

Saw this yesterday but then read the previous thread and bailed: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/773621

    • Ah, I see my complaint. Return ended up being painless (DHL picked up the item) and refund came without issue. Waiting ever since for another good 20+TB deal but would be wary about buying a bare HDD from Newegg again.

Average Newegg customer: "i receive drive. has only 2 small dents. it is great success!"

  • The horny T-Rex is back

  • All my Optane stuff came through newegg cheap and fine… but I honestly don’t trust them too much with bare drives..

  • Does any local suppliers price match to newegg?
