  • TradingView typically has Plus Plan for US$179 on special but not this year. Seems like they're keen to pushing users onto its Premium Plan this year, for the extra dollar. Great post, and thank you, but in conjunction with US$ vs AU$, unfortunately their special is not for me this time round :(

    • I saw that, they started using plus to appear like premium is a no brainer being the same price… like menu items that solely exist to stimulate price anchor bias. Not cool.

To be fair it was $179 in Feb this year

  • +1

Has a lot of bad reviews. Support is poor?

    • It's been good for me over the years, I've always had premium sub so not sure if it's better agents.

    • First year using it and can honestly say it's fantastic. Only disappointing thing is that I can't use it simultaneously between PC, mobile and laptop.

      • +1

        Really, what happens for you?
I use it on all three and more simultaneously.

        • I had the Pro plan which wouldn't let me do it. Now upgraded to premium and works fine. Must by why.

  • They have $15usd each for referral too.

  • VPN into HK and use random HK address to avoid paying 10% GST (unless you can claim GST on your BAS).

    • not working :( GST still shows up.

    • mind sharing which VPN did you use?

      • I used nordvpn. It worked back in Aug when I bought during last deal. Haven't tried this deal

        • Need to target out of these countries I believe
"TradingView, Inc. is registered for tax purposes in Australia, Canada, Colombia, EU states, Japan, India, Indonesia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vietnam, certain US states and cities."

          • @r3b00t: So perhaps Singapore would be a good option since it has zero tax?
            Edit. Singapore has 8% gst

  • Anyone have issues with this on the MacOS app? Using 16" M1 MBP and often have to reload charts multiple times to refresh the chart or sometime it just doesn't load for ages.

    • Never had issues, but I use a browser

      • yeah maybe the app is just bad.

        • Yeah. Just use browser. I have about 20 Tradingview tabs open on my browsers
