40%-49% off Select Ski and Surf Outerwear Delivered @ Patagonia

90

40-49% off a large range of outerwear at Patagonia. Free shipping over $99.
Only worth it if you are willing to pay for gear that will last years, definitely more enthusiast grade.
Patagonia clothing is covered by their lifetime Ironclad guarantee. I can attest to the warranty's quality due to an unfortunate incident where I ruined my puffer vest.

    Still too expensive

    • Arguably yes, depends how much use you’ll get. Like I say, not worth it for the average user.

If you’re only going up to the snow a weekend or two a year, there’s nothing wrong with the Aldi snow geat. They’re not the best but good from the price in my experience.
Next step up you’ve got good options from Decathalon, Anaconda, and Kathmandu if you buy while on special (wouldn’t touch at RRP).

As someone who runs hot I’d strongly recommend making sure you only buy jackets that have pit zip vents to dump moisture and excess heat. the worst thing you can do is get sweaty in the cold as you’ll get freezing the minute you stop moving.

I’d also recommend getting a jacket that isn’t insulated and has room for you to add layers underneath, that way you have a good waterproof layer and can make it warmer or cooler to the conditions, and even use it as a raincoat during summer.

Just make sure whatever you get is at least 15k-20k waterproof at minimum and you should be ok for the most part.

    Hope this helps
