To answer my own question:
BSR Group manages and licenses the Betta, Designer Appliances, Furniture Zone, Stan Cash, Billy Guyatts and Whitfords brands.
Got a price match from JB but said its on back order. Im not overly thrilled by this concept as they cant advise when it will be available unlike Betta and Appliances Online who do have it in stock. Only reason im pressing them is that I have $200 in JB gift cards to use.

Will JB price match with Appliances Central where stock is on back order?
I ordered from Appliances Central while it's on back order. I'm happy to wait but just worried they reject the transaction. Have anyone has experience ordering sth from AC with back order status? Do they actually deliver?
I ended up ordering from Appliances Online. It seems they’re on back order too as the earliest delivery date I could select is 5th Dec

I did it with JB via live chat and they will send you a link but you are not able to click and collect. It seems to be associated with your mobile and has an expiration(3-hour window).

Online order got routed through to Betta Camberwell. I called them last week. They were out of stock, and on back order with their supplier.
Well JB Hifi just totally screwed me here. They cancelled my order and refunded what I had paid. Now I cant get this anymore at this price. Let this be a lesson to NEVER do price matches on items that they cant fulfill instantly.

I called up and the best they can do is $779 but then it has to be delivered for an extra $15. The deal is not so sweet anymore.
I just checked again, I actually received an email from one of the staff saying “order now processed and ordered” on Tuesday. But no another confirmation after these two email.
