Monitor seems to be good. I missed this monitor last time when they had the introduction offer and waited for it till this Black Friday sale.

  I really love this monitor - got it in the last sale. It had a bright pixel so I contacted support and they sent a local company to come round to check it out. They replaced the screen with a brand new one (with all the protective film on), no arguments. Easy-as.

  I wish it had multiple display ports, though as my home PC's graphics card doesn't have modern enough HDMI for a fast refresh rate and display port is being used by work laptop. Other than that, it's awesome (does wobble a bit as I'm typing, but I'm used to it, now).

    Thanks buddy for sharing your experience. I am currently using Xiaomi 34" curved and this will be a good upgrade. One question, do you use a monitor arm or the stand it comes with?

    I am wondering if a monitor arm would do any good on this or not?

      I use the stand which came with the monitor. No idea regarding monitor arm - guess it all depends on the one you get and how stable it is.

    Have you noticed any black-level smearing?
    It's got less overshoot than the Samsung G9 but the G9 has almost no black level smearing.

    I really can't stand black-level smearing so just wanted to know if it was noticeable on yours?

      Sorry mate - I'm not the right person to ask about this. I use it 100% for work (software dev.) and I'm assuming you mean potential smearing/trail when things move quickly across the screen?

    That is because the price there is very close to the odyssey G9. Anyway, rtings review that and it is similar to the G9.

    I got the 20% off through the spinning offer last week and saved it. The spinning offer is you play a spin game on their website and the voucher will be saved in your account for late usage. I didn't know that before. But one day last week, I was checking the monitor price and noticed that. Thought why not give it a go if I can get some discount and that I got 20% off voucher.

  Anyone who ordered got the monitor delivered? Mine still hasn't been delivered. It was picked up by DHL on 22nd Nov from Sydney but till today still no show. Called LG and got the package number and then called DHL on Monday. I have been told that I shall expect a call before 3pm yesterday. Missed a call from a mobile number at 2:20pm yesterday. (PS, I usually don't answer any unknown generic number call anyway. I thought if someone want to call me they will call a second time. But no repeated call from this number). This morning, called DHL and spent 20 minutes on the call. Possible delivery date is Friday. What a joke with DHL.
