I have bought direct through deals here on OzB and had good service
(To be fair I have bought used desktops, not laptops with batteries etc.)I think others have returned or swapped without too much hassle though so YMMV
Mine were laptops but issues were broader than battery. One laptop came heavily scratched, paint was off from multiple places, other had PCB issue, and one with defective screen.
There are many horror stories from their massive surface pro 5 sale
Much the same for me, 3 or 4 orders and there were issues with all of them…

9020 which had an i5 when I order an i7.
9020 with 12gb of mismatched ram when it should have been 16gb, and stuffed front USB ports.
MS Surface 3 with a stuffed HDMI port, lots of bent pins.
7400 lappy with a claimed 80+% battery and the battery was only 50%@FLICKIT: How did you go with getting return/refund on each?

There is no deal on their website. Even 10pct off. Maybe yes at 50pct off.

I've bought 4 Dell Precision desktops over the years and they all were pretty good, all still going ok after 4/5 years. Another precision from January is going fine, was still under Dell service warranty until September.
Ordered a Dell Latitude 7400 this morning through ebay, will see how it goes!

Got the laptop - listing says GOOD quality but actual units has a CRACK through the vents on the back!!!!!! The listing also mentions power adaptor is included, however MISSING from the delivery.
So at this stage I won't even buy a $2 mice from these guys unless they respond to my eBay messages.

Supplier addressed all queries satisfactorily and were very responsive, so ALL GOOD!
I got a surface pro 6 from them and the thing works like a charm. Battery is average but the surface tablet is great for a refurb
You don't want to buy anything refurbished frok them unless it's via eBay Plus.
I have ordered thrice from them and all were defective, for the most recent order they didn't even bother replying to eBay messages. Ended up returning via eBay Plus.
Quality of refurbished products is a lucky draw, could be solid or just a paper weight.
