    This (3060) has more RAM though - 12 vs 8 GB. Although both have RGB.

        Horses for courses, I guess. Depends if you need the RTX software etc.
        I had some frustration with a 6700XT, but the 3070 was easy as.
        Maybe my lack of patience - the 3070 just worked as soon as I installed it, 6700XT needed to be "optimised".

        That's what I think, hence I just bought one. More memory is going to be more future proof. You can always turn settings down, but if the game is trying to load textures that don't fit in graphics memory, there may not be much you can do about that. I've had more graphics cards go obsolete due to memory restrictions than anything else. Just my experience.
