Timex back at it with yet another awesome release, limited stock available across all options at Iconic and looks to be cheapest anywhere in Australia.

The clear winner imo is the one on SS band even if it is $35 more.
Stunning sunburst silver dial with art deco style font, domed crystal with nice looking jubliee bracelet.

Otherwise I think the one on black leather is a nice subtle look that can go with heaps of outfits.

Could do worse for the money imo (or get like 4 different colourways of my favourite sd1970 for the money)

      Yeah… Even Non Chrono marlins come with domed acrylic crystal. You dont see that on their stock photos. The dome reminds me of bambinos.

      Domed acrylic crystals are my favourite. No need for anti-reflective coating, they're clear (comparatively) and give a nice warmth to the dial. They're also light.

      If you're into watches and want to try your hand at modding, this is the Aliexpress starter pack.

    There isnt any mechanical chrono at this price apart from seagul 1963.

        Sure there are. You can find Invictas, casio Edifice or even Ali express watches which are much cheaper than this. But Timex marlins are much nicer compared to those.

      There are Aliexpress homages: Phylida, San Martin (on sale), Sugess, Mysterious Code etc. ST19 of course.
      I'm inclined to go for a VK6x watch myself.
