Have found Digidirect the most cost effective at $143, then add another $10 coupon discount from signing up to their mailing list OR creating your profile for the first time.

The traditional stores MSY/Umart Scorptec etc. have it at $149+

The SE edition of the K5 have made some minor improvements such as adjustable feet etc.

      • Aaah thankyou kind sir.
I am learning the ways of the force!

  • I have the mint switch model of this. It’s a pretty good keyboard. Egregious that you can’t swap out all the keycaps due to proprietary stab locations

    • Ah nice!
I was keen on the mint caps but they were sold out by the time I locked it in.

How would you rate the tactile + quietness?

      • The mint caps are semi-tactile, so there’s a bit of initial resistance, it’s enough that you can tell when you hit a key (having come from an old linear where typing passwords was a pain)
As for noise, it’s relatively silent, I wouldn’t use it in the same room as someone sleeping but I haven’t gotten complaints about typing late at night since moving to it

  • Are any of these keychron keyboards shine through keycaps.ycwork area is always kinda dark.
