Dewalt DCD805E1T-XE 18V 1.7Ah XR Li-Ion Brushless Hammer Drill Driver Combo Kit $169 @ Sydney Tools (Instore Only)

50

DeWalt's highly rated DCD805 brushless 2-speed hammer drill, especially compared to their own 7xx series.

I have been using this every weekend since last deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/723952 and appreciate all the bells and whistles including the smaller and lighter powerstack battery that lasts forever between recharges compared to an old Ryobi.

Bunnings may have the kit available however you will have to check individual store pricing: https://nrby.in/bunnings/0358689

I bought this kit a couple of years ago and paid about $220 I think. Great unit with way more torque than your average cordless drill.

It was out of stock at nearby stores. I got it from Toolkit Depot for the same price with free shipping.

Can confirm Bunnings have this in some stores for $149.

Not showing on their website, just bought one at Wagga Wagga.

    • Was it the DCD709 or DCD805 model? The former is listed at $149 - good find if latter.

        Dcd805 - https://bunnings.youinstock.com.au/search/0358689

Almost accidentally got the 709 yesterday, checked the box before I left, luckily I was working in a different town today with stock.

        • That is a awesome deal, I do not think there is any other quality hammer drill driver kit that could match it at your price.

          • @BlueGlowOne: Absolutely, I’m tied to the Ryobi system and needed a good hammer drill, jumped on this, even though the battery won’t have endurance it now opens up the Dewalt range to me.

        • This deal is still available as of today. Picked up the DCD805 for $149 in Ringwood. Thanks for the youinstock link!

    • yeah I found this deal at the local bunnings. What a good deal!

Eventually managed to grab one of these today from Chatswood Bunnings (we had to search high and low to find them - they weren't on any of the shelves but in the storage right up at the top above all the shelves - two more left there if anyone wants to know)
