I've been researching these lately and I'd suggest the Formovie s5 over this with a capable battery bank (if you want portability).
It's also a laser projector, better brightness, great Denon audio and significantly cheaper.
Just an opinion though. Check reviews of both.

    • Any suggestions for a portable laser projector with Android 12?

Will definitely check it out. I was debating between this and Mars 3.

      That actually looks pretty sweet

You referring to the S5? If so yeh it looks promising. I ordered one from an Aussie store and price matched with another Aussie store, got it for $816 with a 2 year local warranty. It's on its way.
Not sure what the rules are of disclosing their names on here but if it's not a problem happy to let you know.

$1067 (USD $699) delivered including GST by Anker themselves from the states

    • Will there be any issues in terms of it being an import ( as Aus and Us have different voltage ). In addition wont the adapter be different too ?

      • No it will be fine - it has a US wall plug but seperate USB-C cable which you can just use with your normal USB-C wall charger - my Nebula 1 has a USB-A cable and works fine

  • I nearly pulled the trigger on this whilst overseas this week when I saw it at $760 (about $900Aud once taxes and conversion are included).

The new model will be $654CAD (albeit 200ANSI Lumens as opposed to 300, but runs off Google TV). If you know anyone overseas its worth buying it from there.

I just got a newsletter with the pre order discount in Canada (I travel there quite often) and you can purchase from the Canadian amazon store with preorders shipping November 30. Obviously, they won't ship to Australia, but if you know someone who can its worth considerable savings. They charge via USB C, so theres no need to worry about adapters etc.

Yeah you can get the Nebula 3 (non laser model) that's released end of Nov for $449 USD at the moment - like you said it's only 200ANSI though….

On a side note i'd like to know how $760 USD is even close to $900 when taxes and conversion are included ;)
