  • Good quality keyboard at a great price. Its a shame they removed the cable guide at the back tho, oh well.

  • A very good keyboard. Have this at work. Bought one for home.

    • +3

What's good about it? Looks like every other cheap standard office keyboard from Dell, HP, Lenovo etc. purchased in mass by corporates.

      • Feels way better to type on than those ones.

Once you get a mechanical keyboard you won’t go back.

          • +1

            @JXXY1337: Yeah but $7

          • @JXXY1337: It's a good keyboard especially for the price.

Think of it as a budget Topre like board.

Not all mechs are created equal. I would much rather have this board than a hollow budget mech with scratchy linears/tactiles.

      • Solid build quality for a membrane keyboard. Not rattly at all.

  • Thanks, grabbed a couple

    Wireless keyboards exist right?
    I didn’t dream that?

    • +1

Get me a wireless one at $7 pls

      • Best I could do was $1

        • -1

If that’s your best we’d hate to see your worst.

  • Got this last time and is a savior for the horrible office keyboards at work. Got another one cheers.

    • Did your productivity at work go up? Lol

  • +3

    Gotta register. Meh, too hard.

  • Thank you, got one

  • Are these brand new or refurb?

    • Brand new

  • thanks, alway good to have a few spare keyboards.

  • Grabbed one thanks!!

  • +1

Thanks OP. Love my mechanical keyboard, however the wired Lenovo from years back is still most excellent. Bought 2 more, I'm taking 1 into the office to replace that horrid Logitech wireless one.

  • Got a couple, thanks

  • Ordered . thanks op.

  • Thanks OP.

    I grabbed a couple on the reco’s from y’all.

    Cheers

  • Thanks OP, got one

  • keyboard fights next ozbargain catch up?

  • +1

Thank OP. bought one through afterpay so it doesn't hit my cash flow all at once

  • Thanks OP! Grabbed two. Cheers

  • Thanks op, spent some lunch money.

    • +2

      Price of a fillet-o-fish.

  • Thanks op. Don’t think just buy.

  • These are pretty nice keyboards. If your office provided these you'd stop complaining and annoying coworkers with talk of how much nicer your mech kb at home is

    • haha for real.. those people are annoying.

  • +1

    Got any mice/mouses for cheap?

    • yeah i need an el cheapo wireless mouse too just for media centre use

  • Bought 10. Let's see how long the letter will wear out, the basic Dell, HP and logitech keyboards are so bad.

  • OOS

  • OOS

  • I was looking for a wired kb. Great deal, thanks.

  • Oh come on OOS

  • I wish I needed a keyboard…. sad face 😞

  • OP @Calmago do you have any more to allocate to the sale?

    Product page is showing:

    Click & Collect - Available
    Online - Available

But the check out page says 0 remaining…

I also am needing another wired keyboard!

    • +1

Something wrong with that product page. If I get to any other product that is out of stock it shows the standard out-of-stock notification. Reaching out to our Dev to find out what the deal is.

      e.g

      https://www.australiancomputertraders.com.au/hp-elitebook-74…

We sold the 600 or so I had allocated, once the rest of the orders have been loaded for Auspost, there may be another 20 or so left. (Always keep a reserve)

It's an interesting scheme to harvest email addresses - advertise an item as "Online - Available", require people to 'create an account' to checkout, then put a "Sold out" message once they've already created an account. The neg is for being deceptive and requiring someone to create an account before you'll tell them it's sold out.

    • If you click View My Cart you would have got the below message without logging in, but yeah the main item page still says it's in stock(do they manually update that despite having a live stock tracking database in the backend!? 😂)

× Sorry, we don't have enough 'Lenovo Preferred Pro II USB Wired Keyboard 4X30M86879 (LenovoKeyboardPro2)' in stock to fulfill your order: we have 0 available. Please change the quantity on order in your shopping cart and click update. Then try to checkout again.

      • +1

That's true, but if someone is just planning on buying one item, do they click on "View Cart" or "Checkout" when the pop-up appears? Most people would click on Checkout, be prompted to create an account, then get the 'sold out' message. There's legit zero reason to show it as "Available" on the product listing then 'sold out' in cart.

I shouldn't have to add an item to cart before it tells me that there's none left to buy.

dont be stupid, it says online not available and click and collect no available, which means they dont have it and its not in-stock anymore, it seems you just missed out.. i see a message without even logging in, it says notify me, which means, they dont have it in-stock

      • When I made the comment a week ago, it said "Online - Available" and "Click and Collect - Available". You've replied one week later saying it's changed.

        • -1

          go check the website..

if both showed available at that time, then you logged in, and then doesnt let you buy, it means it sold out, dont cry

          • @johnfuller: I don't think it's an unreasonable proposition that a website shouldn't advertise a product as "Available" and then say it's sold out at checkout?

            • -1

@dm02: they sell out fast, the time you viewed website it was available, by the time you registered to buy, it sold out, no its not unreasonable, look at the price, they also mentioned in the original post above; "The past few times we have posted these they have sold out in minutes"

              • @johnfuller: You're making a hell of a lot of assumptions. After the product had already sold out, it was still showing as "Available" on the website.

                • -1

@dm02: thats just your browser caching the first page you visited .. you must be new to the whole internet thing

  • Would have bought one, always handy to have a spare if I accidentally spill orange juice on the main keyboard…

  • Excellent for the price. If they come back in stock note lack of media keys and function key, and it's a heavy keyboard if you care (but also makes it sturdy).

  • +1

    Ordered x1, received x4. Nice

  • I must say these keyboards are excellent to type on, great tactile feedback especially for the price.
