      BTW i have redeemed 2 Garmin life time redemptions (for my brother & dad) without a problem. Scanned copy of receipt and photo of the serial number is all that was required. Turn around was less than a week.

      My Redemption worked fine last time for the Nuvi 50. Got my authorisation code within 5 days. I just quite literally photographed the receipt, barcode and serial codes and uploaded to them. Was easy as..

    went into jb the other day and the nuvi50 price went up to $159 ?!?!

    …also got my redemption code but havent used it yet, as i already updated maps and language when i first got it…do we just enter the code like every year or every update? …cheers

    Unless its changed since the other day, the 160 isn't participating in the lifetime maps, only the 180
