Google Pixel Watch 2
Potentially can get a price beat from office works

About this item
An all-new sensor and Google AI combine for Fitbit's most spot-on heart rate tracking yet. So you can get more precise health and fitness info.
With Fitbit's body-response feature, get help identifying potential signs of stress, so that you can manage it in the moment.
A built-in sensor tracks temperature variations that may be related to your sleep environment, menstrual cycle or changes in your wellness.
Use the ECG app to assess your heart rhythm or get irregular heart rhythm notifications in the Fitbit app.
Fall detection helps connect you to emergency services if you've had a hard fall, even auto-dialling if you're unresponsive.
If you're feeling unsafe, your Pixel Watch 2 can easily alert trusted contacts or 999 with Emergency SOS.
When out for a run or walking alone, set the timer. If it expires with no response, your watch can share your location with close contacts.

  • no buds pro deal yet this bf

  • Champagne is $397

note that some of the advertised features are locked behind a subscription

    • I've got V1 and just use the heart rate and (rarely) the ECG feature - both are free, luckily. There's also Google Fit as an alternative (but yes, without those features).

Also is any watch capable of really tracking steps? I get on my quad bike and can do 10k steps in 5 minutes.

the heart rate monitor is just an led that shines on your veins afaik. steps are registered on any wrist movement so take those with a grain of salt

        • Yep, exactly on both counts.

Great watch, have had it for around a month now

  • Would be keen to know if OW will price beat. Looking to buy one, but wanting to see if anymore deals will come out.

    • Was able to price beat yesterday. paid total $385.47 for the $405.76

      • Do you need to go to a store to buy it if they agree to price-beat it over the phone?

        • I went to the store and wasn't able to try to check via phone.

Best Android watch hands down for health measurements 👐 Ty op!

  • In case anyone was wandering about the Google store price matching this despite Amazon not being on their list of qualifying retailers, I just contacted Google store over chat to see if by chance they would price match. Sadly it's a no go in case anyone else had to thought to use Google store credit and price match. Support did say that they can assure me that the device will work the same way as one purchased from the Google Store, but apart from that recommended that I either shop at a 3rd party seller with a lower price or wait for the Google store to have a sale. Worth a try I guess.

  • Is there warranty on this?

  • Thanks OP. Just put in a price protection claim for the LTE one that I bought at the Google Store

  • I got one yesterday and yes, OW price beat and I paid $385.47

    • Which store?

      • did you go instore or via phone to price beat

        • +1

OW at Vermont South, VIC. I went in store. I didn't try to get in touch via phone.

  • Does anyone know if the UK import differs from the Australian model? Is anything region blocked?
I can see that the model number for this item is GA05029-GB, so it is a GB region watch.

I ask because I had an old Galaxy Watch from Vietnam which couldn't do Google Pay.

The guy at OW checked the serial of AU items vs the UK items and he said they match hence, they can price beat

        Thanks for the info!

        • I was unable to get a price match from Office Works or JB HiFi Penrith NSW. Both cited that it says UK import, so they can't do anything.

Really disappointed that iOS doesn’t support this watch. It’s got everything I’m looking for in a watch. And it looks a lot better than the Apple watch.

  • I bought the same watch from Google store on 18 November for $549.
Contacted their support to try and get the refund for the difference in price from the Amazon deal. They refused. However, the support person did say that that the model listed on Amazon is the same and will work the same way.

Submitted a return request on Google store. Got the RMA and completed the RMA form, booked the collection for tomorrow.

Then I got on the phone with Officeworks to price beat the Amazon price. Paid $385.47 for the watch. A saving of $163.53 for 20 minutes of my time - not bad!

    • Nice work. I got the LTE version from Google for $584 using a 10% off coupon. Put in a price protection claim with 28 Degrees. If all goes well I'll get around $103 back. So $481 for the LTE version wouldn't be bad either :)

  • I was able to price match at Officeworks. But they tacked on the international shipping….. Said the free international shipping was for Prime only. Either way, got it cheaper and used 10% Ultimate giftcards too for $426 ($383.40 with 10% GC off).

  • I just rocked up to my local Officeworks, showed the Amazon deal which clearly showed the international delivery bit under the price, but the guy just said 'yep should be all good'. Got it for $385.47. Thanks OP!

    • Confirm we just did this too. thanks op.

    • Does it need to be the exact same colour for a price match at OW? Wanted the black version but looks like it's not on sale.

      • Oh damn, this morning when I was in OW the black was also discounted on Amazon. Doesn't seem to be the case any more :(

Might still be worth trying, but I personally got the silver/blue one.

EDIT: The black LTE one is on sale and cheaper than the wifi version at the moment.

  • Thanks op,
Managed to tracked down a silver price matched at OW with the Champaign $395 end up paid around $377

  • Don't know where everyone is getting OW price beats.

Just tried PB hotline and X3 stores, all rejected citing UK not AU stock :(

  • Gone :( not the same price as advertised anymore. Have reported

  • fyi the watch never came in the end for me :'( it just stayed in perma 'we'll update you when we get more details' or smth like that for a week, felt really suss like it was going to get cancelled.

Bought the watch from today's deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/817587) instead and am wearing it now
