MJX 1/14 Hyper Go 4WD Brushless RC Truggy (14210) $213.11 ($207.78 eBay Plus) Delivered @ Hobbyco eBay

BF20AUBF22AU

Was looking at picking up a MJX Hyper Go 14210 via China after reading favourable reviews. Then noticed Hobbyco has 20% RC cars on their website for BF. Thought maybe, just maybe they would have the 14210 listed on their eBay store with eBay BF sales code. Use BF20AU code to bring the price down to $213.11 delivered. Pretty darn good price from an Aus bricks & mortar. Plus the bonus of quicker delivery, easier warranty and no dicking around with dodgy Chinese sellers on Alixpress/Banggood/Temu.

Also the mini 1/14 Arrma Infraction truck clone is available for $189.59 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/355030453423?hash=item52a976ccaf…

    Tempting after the last debacle

Exactly! I then tried ordering from another Alixpress seller and had to cancel that order as they couldn't send 2 batteries. The 1/16 (16210) Truggy looks like great value at around $125-$130. Might pick up one for the kids!

      • I’ve also re-ordered one from AliExpress again during the 11.11 sale, from a store with actual feedback this time. Think it was $215 shipped - so this is a great deal!

I just ordered a 16209 for my 10yo boy. I reckon the 1/14 is worth the extra $70 but didn’t get CFO approval unfortunately.

Tempted to grab another for the 8yo, and a couple of these 3s batteries for $20 ea

That escalated quickly into a $400 RC shopping spree. 16209 & 16210 cars , 2 x 3s 2200mAh batteries, 6A charger, set of aluminium upgrades (spares), set of sand tyres all on the way now.

Also a new battery for my 20yo Team Associated buggy so I don’t miss out on the fun.

        • I read the aluminium upgrades aren't recommended because you want some flex

          • @shap08: I reckon that’s correct. They were much cheaper than the plastic ones I saw, so figured they’d do for spares.

            • @watts: Yeah good point especially over Christmas

Gonna throw in a couple of these Lipos I ordered on Amazon BF sales https://www.amazon.com.au/Zeee-Battery-5200mAh-Vehicles-Airp… Hopefully they fit!

With a 3s battery and turning on "insane" mode (done by tapping the red button 5 times on the ESC), capable of hitting up to 80kmh. Great deal and 2s should provide plenty of power but the option is there for those who want to up the ante.

Absolutely, insane speeds on 3s! I'm hoping MJX release a 1/10 or 1/8 scale model with the same build quality, durability and most importantly…. value! It will be an instant hit. Maybe something similar to an Arrma Gorgon with a brushless 2/3s setup for sub $400 RTR

  • Still awaiting shipment.

    • Same for me.

Got a message via eBay today saying they’re working hard to process all the orders but struggling to keep up.

Fine with me as long as I receive within next 2 weeks or so.

  • I received mine and instantly underestimated its power. Went straight in with a 3s battery and snapped a plastic bit in half on the front left shock absorber by ramming into a post (got quite unlucky with the angle of impact) while playing with the throttle trim (rookie error). Gave me a reason to order upgraded shocks though XD, thanks for the deal.

Any battery recommendations for the 14210?
