  • Yo, wtf??

  • +1

Got charged $142, not bad so get back approx $42?

    • +1

Maximum for two years was US$52.95. How did you pay $142?

Buying extras isn’t covered for Cashback

      • +1

        Oh really? hmmmmmmmmmmmm shoot

      • +1

I'm guessing this was the Max plan, which is what Shopback mentions too

Enjoy 83% off + 4 extra Months on 2-year max plan
        Up to 130% Cashback

"Add-ons" are separate and listed below the price. Are you sure it isn't covered?

        • +1

          Just going by this

Cashback is not payable for Existing PureVPN Customers and any Add-on items

          • +1

@Pricebeat: Yep, "Add-ons" are the dedicated Server, IP and Port Forwarding listed below the total. They are optional opt-in and not included in the Max plan by default.

            • +1

@BillyCool: So password manager and the other stuff aren’t add-ons?

              • +1

@Pricebeat: Not sure, just going by what I see in their website, only those items below the total price are labeled as "add-ons". Worst case will cancel if it doesn't track :D

                • +1

@BillyCool: Could be fine. I needed the VPN only for Apple TV. I don’t trust Pure VPN for passwords etc.

          • +1

            @Pricebeat: I didnt add-on any items

            Hmm

I'll see what it tracks at then maybe refund if it is wrong

  • +2

Finally! Needed this for Apple TV!

    • +2

      same haha

  • +2

Using a prepaid Visa gets you:

    Error Detected
Your card is not allowed to complete this transaction. Please contact your bank or try another card.

  • +1

How does it to nordvpn which doesn’t include countries like Philippine and Pakistan.

    • It works well for me, I just checked to see if it has Pakistan but sadly it doesn't but it does have the Philippines.

      • Search for Pakistan then click the request location button and insert Pakistan. The more people do it, more likely they add it

  • +7

Not sure i trust shopback enough to gamble on this

    • +2

I did it previously and paid well. lol

      • +1

        how long did i take?

        • +1

Dont remember, the full duration? 3 months?

  • +1

Tip: Dont pay with Paypal, you can't select to pay in USD as it is subscribing you to a recurring payment.

  • +1

Has anyone purchased and tracked and know what the profit is? Tempted to get it for Apple TV whilst waiting for Nord to make an app.

EDIT: tried it so hopefully works :)

    • +1

Can you report back what the profit is? I know it might not be tracked instantly :)

      • +3

I got the standard plan and it tracked for $105.21. Card charge of $81.21. Maybe should have gotten the max plan but this was lower risk

  • +2

Took a stab at this, hopefully Shopback tracks the transaction.

  • +1

Couldn't pay - tried credit card and Gpay

  • +1

Max plan is 84% discount, 5 mths extra and for 2 years. Not the same advertised by ShopBack in the deal section. Would it work ?

  • +1

Does this one have Egyptian servers?

  • +1

  • +1

how to remove the card details and cancel auto renewal

  • +1

I did this last time and was careful to make sure I did everything correctly and ShopBack still didn’t track it and I didn’t get my refund. Tried to reach out to their customer service but didn’t get anywhere.

  • +2

I click pay with credit card and nothing happens

    • +1

Same, something broken on their website

  • +1

Couldn't manage to pay for it through the app. No spot to enter card details when trying with credit card and the Visa card I'm trying to use in GPay (via Zip) won't go to the next step

  • How does it compare to nord vpn?

  • Can I still claim this by creating a new purevpn account even if i have already claimed in the past?

  • +1

@gotyourback unable to pay when I tried to sign up?

    • +1

Hey mate, best to head to Pure if you're having trouble on their site, not much I can help with there. Let me know how you go!

  • +1

Credit card section showing up now for me via desktop

  • +1

Thanks OP! Purchased and tracked. Remember to talk to an agent to cancel the auto renewal. Not able to erase CC details but at least stop the auto renewal.

    • +1

How did you get past the credit card details, when I press the button nothing happens

      Nm fixed now

      • +1

        use a laptop browser instead

        • +1

Mobile worked fine, wasnt working before due to some website issue

  • +1

People paying with Revoult. When topping up revoult account from credit card is it consider cash advance or purchase

    • +1

Doesn't it support top-up via payid or bank transfer?

    • +1

As per the MCC list Revolut is considered a "Money Transfer". Some banks do consider this a cash advance and some don't (I know CBA at least does)
But note when you top up with a credit card instead of debit, Revolut charge a 0.76% fee. So it's not really worth it anyway.

    • +1

ANZ considers them purchases (at least 1 year ago - stopped using it when they introduced fees for CC topup

  • +1

Just signed up to the Max plan. So far so good. If it doesn't track, I'll just cancel before the 31 days.

  • +1

Purchased the max plan and it's tracked in a couple of hours :D

    Finger crossed

  • -2

They’ll reject the cashback if you don’t use the VPN for them to sell the data

Don’t waste your time and money

    • +1

I'll get you your tin foil hat.

      • Get my money back, cause it’s exactly what happened

  • +1

    Paid $142.28
    Cashback tracked 184.20
    $41.92 profit, thanks OP.
    Cancelled auto-renew via live chat.

  • +1

Does it work with the standard plan, I don't need all the extra crap that the max plan has

  • +1

Paid $142.28. Video recorded the whole transaction incase if doesn't gets tracked. Hope it does.
    Thanks OP.

  • +1

Can it be configured on DDWRT or GLinet

  • +1

Got charged to CC $142.28 AUD. Nothings tracked yet. Will update when it does.

    • $184.20 cashback tracked. Be interesting to see how it compares to private internet access.

  • +1

As per speed test, my local purevpn server is slower than my ISP. Purchased the standard plan, if it doesn't not get tracked. I will cancel it.

  • +1

Mine standard got tracked. Paid $80, tracked for $104

  • +1

F***, I just got missed the comment and got scammed by Paypal, they have sneakily removed Currency Conversion option. All because of this PureVPN checkout that didn't work when I click on pay with Credit Card.

Paypal is just a scam, need to avoid it for all non-AUD payment. As mentioned in the other post they removed that option for recurring billing. Even with the normal one-off payment the option is obscured in a very small option.

DO NOT USE PAYPAL TO PAY FOR THIS DEAL

    • I would suggest to use Revolut or wise

    • +1

Lucky paypal have banned me from using their services LOL

  • +1

Now PureVPN's website shows "84% off on 2-year + 5 Extra Months MAX-Plan" while ShopBack's website still shows "Enjoy 83% off + 4 extra Months on 2-year max plan", does that mean it's not gonna be tracked?

    • +1

That's what mine said too and it tracked fine. Just looked at my PureVPN account "881 days remaining"

  • +2

Shopback has changed cashback to 120%

  • I know that the PureEncrypt included in the max plan is just an oem version or a folk of Cryptomator. (With a little change to the vault config file's naming and or store path, so you can't open the pure encrypt vault directly with your cryptomator).
    Cryptomator is opensource free software.
If PureEncrypt hasn't bring any new features into the place, sell a free opensource software as a part of the premium package, is this a good business practice

  • Mine didn’t get tracked and I can’t find any invoice of the sort, what should I do?
