    That's expected for top-of-the-line performance PC parts, though.

    There's always someone rich enough and/or naive enough or just passionate enough to pay extra for the fastest card, so the price starts crazy high, then drops very quickly to more and more sensible levels.

  A search on whirlpool forums shows a lot of people have had problems with GreenBoxIT. You're probably best going to them in person and checking to make sure that you have an unopened product. Cheaper from online stores isn't necessarily better, which stores you get it from also matters, in case of problems with the product.

    Why do they charge a $6 handling fee for pick up? Other stores don't charge for pickup. What are they doing during the handling that's special?

    Do they not need to 'handle' a delivery?

      That's because other stores absorb the 'handling' costs within their sold product revenue. Green IT is cheap because they don't do this. Warehousing ain't free.

        Basically, just a dodgy way to reduce list pricing by shifting it over to "handling fees", kind of like credit card and Paypal surcharges. Or rather, Paypal specific surcharges.

    I've bought about $900 worth of stuff from these guys - They're pretty reliable. Everything was well packed and unopened. Fast delivery too, as long as the item is in stock.
