Better off with the 39piece that includes screwdriver.

    • Agreed, but its 30% more expensive at the moment.

      • Wasn't 30% more expensive before inflation hit. I got the 39pirce set for the same price as this 38 piece. Inflation sure does suck.

I have the one with the screwdriver, and wouldn't buy the same kit without one.

      Really really nice quality too.
Used it yesterday and will use again today.

Great for any purpose, even just the kitchen draw.
Once you see and feel the quality you'll have forgotten the price.

I do have only 1 criticism.. It has 2 PH1 phillips and 3 PH2 phillips, but only 1 total flat blade.
They should have swapped out one of the PH2's for a 0.8x4 flat blade.

      • It has 2 PH1 phillips and 3 PH2 phillips, but only 1 total flat blade

That is the problem when you buy a tools kit, they assume (but it's the real life) that people mainly use the PH2, less often the PH1 and rarely the flat blade bit.
In my case I buy what I need (only good professional quality tools) and have everything in a nice tool bag.

      • Great compact set. Put it in a car glove box etc

    • Obviously storage size is a factor but the savings from this deal can easily net you the fullsize ratchet screwdriver ~$33 which is much much nicer to use.

Got one of these last time they were cheap but couldn't really see what all the fuss is about.
Quality is OK but the whole thing seemed a bit fiddly and gadgetry to me and way over priced for what it is.
Pretty much went meh on Wera after this

    • I think it's pretty great.
It's different to a pouch kind of thing, sure, but I've come to like it.
Just needed to use it a few times to figure out some hand movements to go flip / flap done, got the bits i need.

      Maybe not for everyone.

It's called Wera band wagon, the quality is there but in my opinion you pay a lot for the brand.

Their stubby screwdriver and balled Allen key set are pretty good

  • I have one of these and as someone who knows nothing about anything, what's the difference between the silver and gold bits?
